2015 Tyrepower Tasmania Super Sprint
The 2015 Tyrepower Tasmania Super Sprint was a motor race for V8 Supercars held on the weekend of 27–29 March 2015. The event was held at the Symmons Plains Raceway in Launceston, Tasmania, and consisted of two sprint races, each over a distance of and one endurance race over a distance of . It was the second round of fourteen in the 2015 International V8 Supercars Championship. Prior to the start of the event, DJR Team Penske's Marcos Ambrose decided to step down from the driver's seat. He announced that he will work with the team and further practice with the car before he returns for the Endurance Cup. Scott Pye, who raced for the team in 2014, was announced as the replacement for Ambrose. David Reynolds and Andre Heimgartner transferred over to the Ford FG X Falcon for the event and the rest of the 2015 season. Rod Nash Racing is a Supercars Championship racing entity, owned by Rod Nash. Nash co-owns Tickford Racing and since 2018, Rod Nash Racing has run under the Tickford name. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is a range of executive cars manufactured by German automaker Mercedes-Benz in various engine and body configurations. The Holden Commodore (VF) is an executive car that was produced by Holden between June 2013 and October 2017. It was the second and last significantly restyled iteration of the fourth (and final) generation of the Holden Commodore to be manufactured in Australia. Mark Skaife (born 3 April 1967) is a retired Australian motor racing driver. Skaife is a five-time champion of the V8 Supercar Championship Series, including its predecessor, the Australian Touring Car Championship, as well as a six-time Bathurst 1000 winner. On 29 October 2008, he announced his retirement from full-time touring car racing. Chaz Mostert
Chaz Mostert (born 10 April 1992) is an Australian professional racing driver competing in the Repco Supercars Championship. He currently drives the No. 25 Holden ZB Commodore for Walkinshaw Andretti United. Mostert was the winner of the 2021 Bathurst 1000 with Lee Holdsworth and has also previously won the 2014 Bathurst 1000 with Paul Morris and the 2010 Australian Formula Ford Championship.
