2015 Tulane Green Wave Baseball Team
The 2015 Tulane Green Wave baseball team represented Tulane University during the 2015 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Green Wave played their home games at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium as a member of the American Athletic Conference. They were led by head coach David Pierce (baseball), David Pierce, in his first season at Tulane. Previous season In 2014, the Green Wave finished the season 10th in Conference USA with a record of 23–29, 10–18 in conference play. They failed to qualify for the 2014 Conference USA baseball tournament or the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. David Pierce (baseball)
David Pierce is an American baseball coach. He is currently the head coach at Texas Longhorns baseball, The University of Texas at Austin. Pierce was named head coach of the Longhorns on June 29, 2016. Assistant coaching history University of Houston Having coached at Rice in 1991 and then in the high school ranks, Pierce rejoined the collegiate coaching ranks at his alma mater, the University of Houston. As the Cougars hitting coach, he helped the team to two postseason tournaments. In 2002 – his second year as an assistant coach – Pierce helped UH reach a 2002 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament#Austin Super Regional, Super Regional. His hitters finished with almost 700 hits and a .310 team batting average, good for 5th in Cougar history. Riverside Sports Complex
The Riverside Sports Complex, in Riverside, California, is the home field of the University of California, Riverside baseball team. The stadium seats 2,500 and features a home team locker room built personally by Troy Percival, a UC Riverside alumnus. A statue of the UCR Bear in concrete just inside the entrance to the facility, was erected in 2007. The stadium also has a pair of hitting cages located underneath the grandstands. History The stadium is primarily used for baseball and was the home of Riverside Pilots before they moved to Lancaster to become the Lancaster JetHawks in 1996. Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field is a baseball venue in Hammond, Louisiana, United States. It is home to the Southeastern Louisiana Lions baseball team of the NCAA's Division I Southland Conference. The facility has a capacity of 2,500 spectators. It is named after Pat Kenelly, the longest tenured baseball coach in program history.
