2015 TCR International Series Salzburgring Round
The 2015 TCR International Series Salzburgring round was the sixth round of the 2015 TCR International Series season. It took place on 31 May at the Salzburgring. Kevin Gleason won the first race, starting from pole position, driving a Honda Civic Type R TCR (FK2), and Michel Nykjær gained the second one, driving a SEAT León Cup Racer. Success Ballast Due to the results obtained in the previous round, Gianni Morbidelli received +30 kg, Jordi Gené +20 kg and Andrea Belicchi +10 kg. Fernando Monje
Fernando Monje Vicario (born 7 March 1993) is a former Spanish racing driver who competed in the World Touring Car Championship. Career Early career Monje was born in Barcelona. He began his career in karting in 2005 at the age of twelve and competed in karting until 2009. He switched to single-seaters in 2009 at the age of 16 when he debuted in the Formul'Academy Euro Series, finishing tenth in the drivers' championship. He also contested three rounds of the Spanish SEAT León Supercopa with SUNRED Engineering. Zengő Motorsport is a Hungarian motor racing team founded by Zoltán Zengő. They currently compete in the World Touring Car Cup and others TCR championships. The team also used to compete in the SEAT León Eurocup, where they won driver's titles in both 2009 and 2010, respectively. Campos Racing
Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport. In 1998 the team began by competing in the new Open Fortuna by Nissan, with Marc Gené and Antonio García as drivers. Gené won the championship and García finished fifth, with Campos taking the teams title. Gené stepped up to Formula One in , and his place in the team was taken by karting driver Fernando Alonso. The Opel Astra is a compact car/small family car (C-segment) developed and produced by the German automaker Opel since 1991, currently at its sixth generation. Markus Oestreich (born 3 July 1963) is a German racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series. He previously competed in the British Touring Car Championship, World Touring Car Championship and Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft. Racing career Oestreich began his career in 1985 in Formula Ford 2000 Germany, he finished 7th in the championship standings that year. Bas Schouten
Bas Schouten (born 19 October 1994 in Hoorn) is a Dutch auto racing driver. Schouten has raced in various international racing series such as the TCR International Series and Acceleration 2014. Career After a career in karting in his home country Schouten made his auto racing debut in 2010. Schouten was included in the KNAF Talent First programme together with Steijn Schothorst and Dennis van de Laar. De 15-year-old Dutch driver ran in the amateur BMW E30 Cup in a BMW 325i E30 entered by Bas Koeten Racing. Schouten also ran six races in the Dutch Formula Ford Duratec championship. Lorenzo Veglia (born 7 October 1996) is an Italian racing driver currently competing in the Italian GT Championship. He made his debut in 2015. Racing career Veglia began his career in 2013 in the European Touring Car Cup, he raced in the Super 1600 division. Finishing 4th in the standings that year.
