2015 Strømsgodset Toppfotball Season
The 2015 season was Strømsgodset Toppfotball, Strømsgodset's 9th season in Tippeligaen following their promotion back to the top flight in 2006. David Nielsen started the season as the manager, but was sacked after league round 10, having only secured 12 points. He was replaced by assistant manager Bjørn Petter Ingebretsen on 26 May 2015. Ingebretsen achieved immediate success, and took the team from 9th to 2nd after a 20-match run that secured 45 points. In the Norwegian cup, cup they were knocked out by 2. divisjon side Kvik Halden on a penalty shootout in the third round. In the UEFA Europa League qualifications, they eliminated FK Partizani and FK Mladá Boleslav in the 1st and 2nd qualifying rounds, but lost 0–4 on aggregate versus HNK Hajduk Split, Hajduk Split in the third qualifying round. Strømsgodset Toppfotball
Strømsgodset Toppfotball is a Norwegian professional association football, football club based in Gulskogen, Drammen, that competes in the Eliteserien (football), Eliteserien. It is the elite football section of the multi-sports club Strømsgodset IF. The multi-sports club was founded 10 February 1907, but the football team first found success in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Led by the young striker Steinar Pettersen and his team-mates, the «Rødgata Boys» (nicknamed after the street most of them lived on), Strømsgodset got promoted from the fourth tier to the top flight in just a few years. The team then went on to win the Eliteserien, top division in 1970 and the Norwegian Football Cup, Norwegian Cup in 1969, 1970, 1973. In the following decades, the club struggled more. FK Mladá Boleslav is a Czech football club based in the city of Mladá Boleslav . The club currently plays in the Czech First League. Koninklijke Lierse Sportkring (), often simply known as Lierse, was a Belgian professional football club from the city of Lier in the Antwerp province. Lierse have won four championship titles and two Belgian Cups. Jarl-André Storbæk (born 21 September 1978) is a Norwegian footballer who played as a defender. Between 2005 and 2008, he was capped 17 times for the Norway national team.
