2015 South Florida Bulls Baseball Team
The 2015 South Florida baseball team represented the University of South Florida during the 2015 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Bulls played their home games at USF Baseball Stadium as a member of the American Athletic Conference. They were led by head coach Mark Kingston in his first season at South Florida. Previous season In 2014, the Bulls finished the season 5th in the American with a record of 27–31, 10–14 in conference play. Mark Kingston (baseball)
Mark Kingston (born May 16, 1970) is an American college baseball coach. He is currently the head coach at the South Carolina Gamecocks baseball, University of South Carolina. He was previously the head coach at the South Florida Bulls baseball, University of South Florida and Illinois State Redbirds, Illinois State University. Playing career Kingston played high school baseball at Potomac High School (Virginia), Potomac High School in Dumfries, Virginia where he was a Collegiate Baseball Top 50 recruit, and was drafted out of high school by the New York Yankees in the 35th round of the 1988 MLB Draft. Choosing instead to play college ball at North Carolina Tar Heels baseball, North Carolina, he played four seasons, helping the team to an Atlantic Coast Conference regular season title and berth in the 1989 College World Series in his freshman year. Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium is a baseball venue located in Tallahassee, Florida, United States, located adjacent to Doak Campbell Stadium on the campus of Florida State University. Thomas Darwin Eshelman (born June 20, 1994) is an American former professional baseball pitcher and current pitching coach in the San Diego Padres organization. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut with the Baltimore Orioles in 2019. He played college baseball for the Titans of California State University, Fullerton. The Houston Astros selected Eshelman in the 2015 MLB draft, and traded him to the Philadelphia Phillies after the 2015 season. He was traded to the Baltimore Orioles during the 2019 season.
