2015 Silverstone 24 Hours
The 2015 Britcar 24 Hour Race Silverstone was the 10th running of the Silverstone 24 Hours endurance sports car race held on April 25–26, 2015 at the Silverstone Circuit. Victory overall and in Class 3 went to the No. 35 Beechdean AMR Aston Martin V8 Vantage driven by Andrew Howard, Jonathan Adam, Harry Whale, Jamie Chadwick, and Ross Gunn. Victory in Class 4 went to the No. 50 St. Bas Koeten Racing SEAT León Cup Racer driven by Karel Gijs Bessem, Harry Hilders, and Roger Grouwels. Silverstone 24 Hours
The Silverstone 24 Hour was a sports car race in endurance racing, held annually at Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom until 2018. The race was originally organised by Britcar. The 2009 race was shortened to 500 miles due to the recession. In the 2010 race it was the first time they used the new Arena Circuit, previously they used the Bridge Grand Prix Circuit. The 2013 edition was shortened to 1000 km. For 2015 the race was called the Dunlop 24hr at Silverstone for sponsorship reasons. On October 2, 2015 Creventic, the promoter and organiser of the 24H Series and the Touring Car Endurance Series, announced they would organise the Silverstone 24-Hour race in 2016. It was the third round of the 2016 24H Series season and the first round of the 2016 Touring Car Endurance Series season. Tony Hughes (racing Driver)
Tony Hughes (born 31 December 1957 in Stockport, Cheshire) is a British businessman and former auto racing driver. He is the managing director of Hughes Safety Showers and drove for Speedworks Motorsport in the British Touring Car Championship in 2011 and 2012. Racing career Ginetta Hughes started circuit racing in 2007, competing in the Ginetta G20 Cup for Speedworks Motorsport. The following year he progressed to the Ginetta G50 Cup where he raced for three years. He won the Chairman's Cup once in 2009 and three times in 2010. The Audi R8 is a mid-engine, 2-seater sports car, which uses Audi's trademark quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. It was introduced by the German car manufacturer Audi AG in 2006. Ginetta-Juno P3-15
The Ginetta-Juno P3-15, also known as the Ginetta-Juno P3 is a Le Mans Prototype LMP3 built to ACO Le Mans Prototype LMP3 regulations. It was designed by Ewan Baldry, and built by Ginetta Cars. The car was the first car to launch, and run in the class, with it making its debut at the 2015 4 Hours of Silverstone. It subsequently formed the basis of the G57 P2, and the later G58. A direct successor to the P3-15, the G61-LT-P3, was developed to meet the new 2020 LMP3 regulations, while retaining the original tub utilised in the P3-15. The original Marcos Mantis is a sports car produced by the British car company Marcos Engineering. It was formally introduced in 1968, although it appears that production was slow to start. BMW M3
The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. BMW 1 Series (F20)
The second generation of the BMW 1 Series consists of the BMW F20 (5-door hatchback) and BMW F21 (3-door hatchback) subcompact cars. The F20/F21 generation was produced by BMW from 2011 to 2019 and is often collectively referred to as the F20. Alice Elizabeth Fraser Powell (born 26 January 1993) is a British racing driver. In 2010, she became the first woman to win a Formula Renault championship and in 2012 became the first woman to score points in the GP3 Series.
