Pan American Judo Championships
The Pan American Judo Championships are continental judo Championships organized by the Pan American Judo Confederation since 2009. Previous championships were organized by the Panamerican Judo Union. From 2022 they are renamed to Pan American-Oceania Judo Championships. Arthur Margelidon
Arthur Margelidon (born 12 October 1993, in Paris, France) is a Canadian judoka who competes in the men's 73 kg category. Career Margelidon won the bronze medal the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, and the gold medal at the 2016 Pan American Judo Championships in Havana. In June 2016, he was selected for Canada's Olympic team, but he had to withdraw after he injured his arm. In June 2021, Margelidon was named to Canada's 2020 Olympic team. Margelidon would go onto finish in fifth place, one victory away from a bronze medal. He lost his bronze medal match in the men's 73kg event at the 2023 World Judo Championships held in Doha, Qatar. David Moura
David Moura Pereira da Silva (born 24 August 1987) is a Brazilian judoka. He won a silver medal at the 2017 World Judo Championships in Budapest. In 2020, he won one of the bronze medals in the men's +100 kg event at the 2020 Pan American Judo Championships held in Guadalajara, Mexico. Kyle Reyes (born October 10, 1993) is a Canadian judoka who competes in the men's 100 kg category. Reyes was born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Reyes won the gold medal the 2013 World Junior Championships in Ljubljana, became the first Canadian judoka to win a World Junior Championships gold medal. Rafael Enrique Romo Pérez (born February 25, 1990) is a Venezuelan professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Universidad Católica. Career Romo started his career at 17 years old, playing in old Venezuelan goalkeeper Gilberto Angelucci's team, the Atlético de Turén. He participated in the 2007 Venezuelan Torneo Apertura. Asley González (born 5 September 1989 in Caibarién) is a Cuban judoka. He won the 2013 World Championship in the −90 kg event. Antoine Valois-Fortier
Antoine Valois-Fortier (born 13 March 1990) is a Canadian retired judoka who won the bronze medal in the −81 kg category at the 2012 Olympics, becoming the first Canadian to win a medal in Olympic judo in twelve years and the fifth to win one in Canadian history. Career Valois-Fortier entered the 2012 Olympics ranked 21st in the world in his weight class.
