2015 Oklahoma State Cowboys Football Team
The 2015 Oklahoma State Cowboys football team represented Oklahoma State University in the 2015 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Cowboys were led by 11th-year head coach Mike Gundy and played their home games at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They were members of the Big 12 Conference. They finished the season 10–3, 7–2 in Big 12 play to finish in a tie for second place. They were invited to the Sugar Bowl where they lost to Ole Miss. Mike Gundy
Michael Ray Gundy (born August 12, 1967) is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at Oklahoma State University. Gundy played college football at Oklahoma State, where he played quarterback from 1986 to 1989. He became Oklahoma State's coach on January 3, 2005. Gundy and the University of Utah’s Kyle Whittingham are currently the second-longest tenured FBS coaches with one school, trailing only Kirk Ferentz. He is the longest-tenured in the Big 12 Conference. Playing career At Midwest City High School, Gundy played quarterback, and was voted Oklahoma Player of the Year in 1986. His high school football coach was Dick Evans. Gundy was heavily recruited by the Oklahoma Sooners but in the end signed with the Oklahoma State University Cowboys. Greg Adkins
Greg Adkins (born March 25, 1968) is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the offensive line coach at the University of South Carolina. Adkins has coached at both the college level and the NFL. He has 29 years of experience working as an offensive line and tight ends coach, as well as serving as a recruiting coordinator at several schools. He has coached in multiple national championship games and conference championship games, as well as 15 bowl games. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. Jason McEndoo
Jason McEndoo (born February 25, 1975) is an American football coach and former center in the National Football League (NFL) for the Seattle Seahawks. He is currently the tight ends and Cowboy Backs coach for Oklahoma State. He played college football at Washington State University in Pullman and was a member of the 1997 team which went to the Rose Bowl. Born in San Diego, California, McEndoo played high school football in southwest Washington at Aberdeen. Selected in the seventh round of the 1998 NFL Draft, McEndoo played one game for Seattle in his rookie season in 1998; he was released the following summer on September 5, 1999. The Idaho Vandals are the college football team that represents the University of Idaho and plays its home games at the Kibbie Dome, an indoor facility on campus in Moscow, Idaho. Kasey Dunn
Kasey E. Dunn (born July 22, 1969) is an American football coach and former wide receiver who is currently the offensive coordinator at Oklahoma State University. Playing career Dunn was a wide receiver at Idaho from 1987 to 1991. An eleventh hour commit, Idaho was the only scholarship offer Dunn received to play college football. As of 2020, he still holds program records for career receptions (287) and career receiving yards (3,847), while also being inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 2007.
