The 2015 Novilon EDR Cup was a bicycle race in the Netherlands, which formed part of the Dutch one day women's elite race season. It was held on 15 March 2015 over a distance of . Kirsten Wild
Kirsten Carlijn Wild (born 15 October 1982) is a Dutch former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2004 and 2021, for eight professional teams. During her track cycling career, Wild rode at the Summer Olympic Games in 2012, 2016 and 2020, winning a bronze medal at the latter Games, in the omnium. She won eighteen medals including nine golds at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, and eighteen medals including eight golds at the UEC European Track Championships. Wild also took over 100 victories in road racing, and won two medals at the UCI Road World Championships. Career At the 2012 London Olympics Wild finished sixth in the omnium, and was a member of the Dutch team that finished sixth in the team pursuit (together with Ellen van Dijk, Amy Pieters and Vera Koedooder). Ronde Van Drenthe (women's Race)
Ronde van Drenthe ( en, Tour of Drenthe) is an elite men's and women's professional road bicycle racing event held annually in the Drenthe, Netherlands and sanctioned by the Royal Dutch Cycling Union. The women's event is part of the UCI Women's World Tour, and the men's event is part of the UCI Europe Tour. History Men's event The race was first held in 1960 as an amateur event. Since 2005, the men's event has been part of the UCI Europe Tour. It became a 1.HC race in 2017. Between 2010 and 2015, Dwars door Drenthe was held on the same weekend as the Ronde van Drenthe. In 2011, Ronde van Drenthe and Dwars door Drenthe were held as a combined stage race, with each day retaining its own branding. The events reverted to being separate events in 2012. Lotta Pauliina Henttala (née Lepistö; born 28 June 1989) is a Finnish racing cyclist, who rides for Finnish amateur team Henttala Development Team. She has won the Finnish National Road Race Championships seven times, consecutively between 2012 and 2018. Career She competed in swimming and triathlon alongside cycling in her youth, before focusing on cycling after becoming Finnish Under-16 road racing champion. Amy Pieters (born 1 June 1991) is a Dutch professional road and track cyclist, who is contracted to ride for UCI Women's WorldTeam . She was a member of the Dutch team that finished sixth at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the team pursuit (together with Ellen van Dijk, Kirsten Wild and Vera Koedooder). On 23 December 2021, Pieters was placed in an induced coma and underwent emergency surgery to relieve pressure on her brain caused by a fall that day during a training ride near Alicante with the Dutch national track team. After being repatriated to the Netherlands the following month, Pieters had regained consciousness in April but, due to the brain injury suffered, doctors were unsure of her "residual symptoms and remaining abilities".
