2015 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track And Field Championships
The 2015 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships was held from June 10 to June 13, 2015. This was the 94th NCAA Men's Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships and the 34th NCAA Women's Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The meet was held for the third consecutive year at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, on the campus of the University of Oregon. In total, 42 different men's and women's track and field events were contested. The men's distance events were historically slow due to wind and heat. University of Oregon was the overall men's and women's winner of the meet by points. Aaron Troy Ernest (born November 8, 1993) is an American sprinter who specializes in the 100 meters and 200 metres. He went to Homewood high school and competed for the LSU Tigers from 2012 to 2015. Dedric Dukes (born February 4, 1992) is an American sprinter and former American football wide receiver. He attended the University of Florida. A native of Miami, Dukes attended Booker T. Washington High School, where he ran track and played on the football varsity, being teammates with Quinton Dunbar, Lynden Trail, Eduardo Clements and Elkino Watson. Dukes finished fourth in the 200 m at the 2009 World Youth Championships in Athletics, despite entering the event as World Youth Leading. He also helped the US medley relay squad to a gold medal.
