2015 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships
The 2015 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships were the 77th NCAA Men's Division I Cross Country Championship and the 35th NCAA Women's Division I Cross Country Championship to determine the national champions of men's and women's NCAA Division I collegiate cross country running. It was held at E. P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky and was hosted by the University of Louisville on November 21, 2015. Four different championships were contested: men's and women's individual and team championships. Syracuse won the men's team championship, their first since 1951. Oregon's Edward Cheserek won the men's individual event, his third consecutive championship. Cheserek joined Gerry Lindgren, Steve Prefontaine, and Henry Rono as the event's only three-time champions. New Mexico won the women's team championship, their first. Louisville, Kentucky

Justyn Knight
Justyn Knight (born 19 July 1996) is a Canadian long-distance track runner. A successful collegiate runner during his time at Syracuse University, he was the school's most-decorated distance runner in cross country and track. On the professional scene, he has represented his country at the World and Olympic level, with his highest finish to date being seventh at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Running career Youth Knight was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario to parents of Afro-Caribbean descent. His mother, Jennifer Knight, was born and raised in Jamaica and moved to Canada at the age of 13. His father, Anthony Knight, born in Canada to parents from Barbados, was a basketball coach. The Villanova Wildcats are the athletic teams of Villanova University. They compete in the Big East (NCAA Division I) for every sport; except football and rowing where they compete in the Colonial Athletic Association (Football Championship Subdivision, formerly Division I-AA). Patrick Tiernan
Patrick Tiernan (born 11 September 1994) is an Australian long-distance runner. While competing for Vilanova University, he won the 2016 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships. He has represented Australia in several global competitions, including the 2016 and 2020 Olympics. He held the Australian record in the 10000 m from 2020 to 2022. Tiernan competes professionally for PUMA. Running career Youth Tiernan was born in Longreach, a town in Queensland, Australia. He spent his formative years in Toowoomba, also in Queensland, where he took up distance running while attending St. Joseph's College, Toowoomba. The Georgetown Hoyas are the collegiate athletics teams that officially represent Georgetown University, located in Washington, D.C. Georgetown's athletics department fields 23 men's and women's varsity level teams and competes at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a member of the Big East Conference, with the exception of the Division I FCS Patriot League in football. The Michigan Wolverines comprise 29 varsity sports teams at the University of Michigan. These teams compete in the NCAA's Division I and in the Big Ten Conference in all sports except women's water polo, which competes in the NCAA inter-divisional Collegiate Water Polo Association. Team colors are maize and blue, though these are different shades of "maize" and "blue" from those used by the university at large. The winged helmet is a recognized icon of Michigan Athletics.
