2015 NBL Canada Finals
The 2015 NBL Canada Finals was the championship series of the 2014–15 National Basketball League of Canada season and the conclusion of the season's playoffs. The Central Conference champions Windsor Express controversially won the title after Atlantic Conference champions Halifax Rainmen forfeited Game 7. The Finals began on April 15, and ended on April 30. The Express claimed their second straight title, and Kirk Williams was named Finals MVP. National Basketball League Of Canada
The National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada; french: Ligue nationale de basketball du Canada) is a Canadian professional men's minor league basketball organization. The NBL Canada was founded in 2011, when three existing Premier Basketball League teams joined with four new franchises for the league's inaugural season. The league has changed in size multiple times and has four active teams for the 2023 season, all in Ontario, but historically has had several located in the Atlantic provinces. Liam McMorrow
Liam Paul McMorrow (born July 22, 1987) is a Canadian professional basketball player. Player profile McMorrow is a former ice hockey player in his native Canada who only took up basketball seriously in 2008. He went undrafted in the 2012 NBA draft but has since shown a lot of improvement in stints in leagues around the world. His most recent stint was with the Halifax Rainmen of NBL Canada, where his team lost Game Seven of their championship game against Windsor Express by forfeiture. is a Japanese professional basketball player who plays for Shimane Susanoo Magic of the B.League in Japan. He plays as Playmaker and is a native of Tokyo. Ando is the first Japanese player ever to play in the National Basketball League of Canada. Ryan Anderson (basketball, Born 1987)
Ryan Christian Anderson (born December 19, 1987) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Niagara River Lions of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). He was a four-year standout player for Nebraska, where he earned a degree in sociology with a minor in music technology. High school career Anderson attended Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, Washington. When Anderson was a freshman, his team was ranked No. 1 in the state and the country, with the help of Stewart Twins and Nate Robinson, they won the state title. Ashley Timothy Parham (born March 18, 1983) is an American professional basketball player for Cóndores de Cundinamarca of the Baloncesto Profesional Colombiano. At the college level, he played for Ellsworth Community College and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Scotiabank Centre (formerly known as Halifax Metro Centre) is the largest multi-purpose facility in Atlantic Canada, located in the heart of downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Kevin Young Jr. (born June 24, 1990) is a Puerto Rican professional basketball player for the Osos de Manatí of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He played college basketball for Loyola Marymount and Kansas. High school career Young attended Perris High School of the Sun Belt League. Tyrone Watson
Tyrone Watson (born July 12, 1990) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the St. John's Edge of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL). He attended New Mexico State University, where he represented the Aggies, and has competed with the Canadian youth national team in the past.
