The 2015 Kettering Borough Council election took place on 7 May 2015 to elect members of Kettering Borough Council in Elections in England, England. It was held on the same day as other 2015 United Kingdom local elections, local elections. The Conservative Party retained control of the council, which it had held since 2003. The election in Rothwell Ward was delayed until 4 June 2015 due to the death of a candidate. Kettering is a market and industrial town in North Northamptonshire, England. It is located north of London and north-east of Northampton, west of the River Ise, a tributary of the River Nene. In the 2011 census Kettering's built-up area had a population of 63,675. It is part of the East Midlands, along with other towns in Northamptonshire.
