2015 Karjala Tournament
The 2015 Karjala Tournament was played between 5–8 November 2015. The Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden and Russia played a round-robin for a total of three games per team and six games in total. Five of the matches were played in the Hartwall Areena in Helsinki, Finland, and one match in the Fjällräven Center in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The tournament was won by Sweden. Linus Omark
Linus Karl Heimer Omark (born 5 February 1987) is a Swedish professional ice hockey left winger currently with Genève-Servette HC of the National League (NL). Omark has previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Buffalo Sabres and Edmonton Oilers. He was drafted into the NHL by the Edmonton Oilers in the fourth round, 97th overall, of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Omark began his professional hockey career in his native Sweden playing for Luleå Hockey of the Elitserien. In the 2008–09 season, Omark led Luleå in scoring with 23 goals and 55 points, good for third in the league. Igor Grigorenko
Igor Grigorenko (born April 9, 1983) is a Russian former professional ice hockey right winger who played almost exclusively in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He currently serves as the general director of Dinamo-Samara. Playing career In 2001, Grigorenko was a member of the Russian World U-18 team. At the tournament he finished second overall in the tournament scoring and was also named to the tournament's first All Star team, he was drafted 62nd overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings. In 2002–03, Grigorenko was the leading scorer with Lada in the Russian Super League with 19 goals and 29 points in 47 regular season games. Ilya Valeryevich Kovalchuk (russian: Илья Валерьевич Ковальчук; born 15 April 1983) is a Russian former professional ice hockey winger. Juuso Hietanen
Juuso Hietanen (born 14 June 1985) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman for HPK of the Liiga. Playing career Hietanen made his SM-liiga debut with HPK during the 2003–04 season, and two years later he became a regular player on the team. He also visited Pelicans early in his career and was part of the Finnish national junior team in the 2005 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Sami Lepistö (born 17 October 1984) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman who currently plays for SCL Tigers of the National League (NL). Petri Kontiola (born October 4, 1984) is a Finnish professional ice hockey centre currently playing for Ilves of the Liiga. Kontiola has previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Chicago Blackhawks, the organization that drafted him 196th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Atte Petteri Ohtamaa (born 6 November 1987) is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenceman for Oulun Kärpät of the Liiga. Playing career Ohtamaa's youth team was Nivala Cowboys before he transferred to Oulun Kärpät at the Junior B level.
