The 2015 Jacksonville Dolphins football team represented Jacksonville University in the 2015 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by ninth-year head coach Kerwin Bell and played their home games at D. B. Milne Field. They were a member of the Pioneer Football League. They finished the season 9–2, 6–2 in PFL play. However, due to PFL rules violations, their official conference record was 0–0 and did not occupy a place in the conference standings. On December 3, it was announced that head coach Kerwin Bell's contract would not be renewed. He finished at Jacksonville with a nine year record of 66–35. Kerwin Bell
Kerwin Douglas Bell (born June 15, 1965) is an American football coach and former player who has been the head coach of the Western Carolina Catamounts football team since 2021. Bell was born in the rural North Central Florida town of Live Oak and was a star high school football quarterback at Lafayette County High School. Though he led the Lafayette Hornets to their only state championship, he did not attract the attention of top college football programs while playing at the small high school. He enrolled at the University of Florida, made the football team as a walk-on, and was redshirted during his freshman season of 1983. Injuries to more experienced players just before the 1984 season pushed Bell into a starting role for the Gators' season opening game against the defending national champion Miami Hurricanes in what was one of the first prime time college football broadcasts on ESPN. Barker–Lane Stadium
Barker–Lane Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Buies Creek, North Carolina. The stadium is located on the campus of Campbell University and hosts the school's American football and women's lacrosse programs. The stadium was scheduled to be completed in stages with the first stage to include the field, the field house, the main entrance, the bowl, seating for 5,000 spectators and necessary road realignment. Barker-Lane received a major expansion in 2013 with the construction of the West stand that increased capacity to 5,500. The newly constructed West stand includes seating for 3,000, with 867 chair back seats plus additional bleacher back seats, an tall press box, new restrooms, and new concession facilities. In 2016, a state-of-the-art HD Daktronics video board was added to the north endzone. Welcome Stadium is an 11,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Dayton, Ohio, United States, owned and operated by Dayton Public Schools. Primary tenants of the facility include University of Dayton Flyers football team and the Dayton Dynamo of the National Premier Soccer League.
