2015 Indonesia President's Cup
The 2015 Indonesia President's Cup ( id, Piala Presiden 2015) was the first edition of the Indonesia President's Cup. The tournament was held to restore the atmosphere of Indonesian football which was frozen by FIFA. The tournament was held from 30 August to 18 October 2015. The tournament was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo in Gianyar, Bali. Teams The tournament was joined by 16 clubs: 13 from the Indonesia Super League and three from the Premier Division. ;Notes Draw The 16 teams were divided into four groups based on the draw results. Venues The group stage matches were played at four locations: Bandung, Malang, Gianyar and Makassar. The quarter-finals and semi-finals were played on a home-and-away system. Indonesia President's Cup
The Piala Presiden (English: President's Cup) is an annual pre-season association football tournament held in Indonesia and organized by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). It is participated by Liga 1 clubs. The inaugural tournament was held in 2015 to fill the vacuum of the Indonesia Super League when Indonesia was suspended by FIFA for government interference. The most recent tournament was held in 2022. History The Piala Presiden was a substitute tournament for the Indonesia Super League after PSSI was declared FIFA sanctioned in May 2015. The vacuum of the tournament made Mahaka Sports and Entertainment initiate the President's Cup as a contribution to national football. Tenggarong
Tenggarong is a town in and the capital of Kutai Kartanegara Regency of East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. The former Kutai Kartanegara Sultanate's capital was likewise located in Tenggarong. Historically, the then capital was called ''Tepian Pandan''. Martapura, South Kalimantan
Martapura is the capital of the Banjar Regency in South Kalimantan province, Indonesia. 2014 Liga Indonesia Premier Division
The 2014 Liga Indonesia Premier Division season is the nineteenth edition of Liga Indonesia Premier Division since its establishment in 1994. The competition is managed by PT. Liga Indonesia (LI). The season scheduled begins in February 2014.
