The 2015 season is Start's 3rd season in the Tippeligaen since their promotion back to the league in 2012, and their fifth season with Mons Ivar Mjelde as manager. Start will competed in the Tippeligaen and the Norwegian Cup. IK Start
Idrettsklubben Start (or simply IK Start, translates to The sports club Start ) is a Norwegian football club from the city of Kristiansand that currently plays in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club was founded on 19 September 1905. The club's current head coach is Sindre Tjelmeland. The team plays in yellow jerseys, black shorts and socks at home, and black jerseys, yellow shorts and socks away. They play their home matches at Sør Arena, the club's own football stadium, opened in 2007. Before moving to Sør Arena, IK Start played their games at Kristiansand Stadion. The team's official supporter club was called "Tigerberget", until 2017, when the IK Start board decided to no longer have an official supporter club. Alex DeJohn
Alexander Ray DeJohn (born May 10, 1991) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender. Born in Marlboro, New Jersey, DeJohn played college soccer for the Old Dominion Monarchs before being drafted in the 2013 MLS Supplemental Draft by the New England Revolution as the 42nd pick (80th overall). Despite being drafted, DeJohn moved to Finland and joined Ekenäs IF before moving to Veikkausliiga club TPS. DeJohn spent two seasons in Finland before moving to Norway with Start. Sean McDermott (footballer)
Sean McDermott (born 30 May 1993) is a professisonal footballer playing as a goalkeeper, for Molde. Born in Norway, he has represented the Republic of Ireland at youth level. He has previously played for Start and Dinamo București, among others. Personal life McDermott was born to a Norwegian mother and a Donegal-born father in Kristiansand where he also grew up. He lived in Donegal for six months when he was 9 and played in goal for his local Gaelic football club. Henrik Breimyr
Henrik Malde Breimyr (born 20 July 1993) is a Norwegian footballer, playing for Egersund. Breimyr plays as a central defender. Club career Henrik played schoolboy football for Fulham and Reading. He was released by Reading in the summer of 2009 and joined Aldershot Town's academy. He has also played for the club's reserves. Mads Stokkelien (born 15 March 1990) is a Norwegian former professional football striker. He last played for Start. Club career IK Start Having been an IK Start youth, he later debuted in IK Start's first team squad. He played two games in the Norwegian First Division in 2008. Andreas Hollingen (born 3 October 1994) is a retired Norwegian footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Hollingen made his first-team debut for Molde in October 2012 in the Europa League against Steaua București. He later made his Norwegian Premier League debut in July 2013 in a 3–2 win against Tromsø. On 10 August 2014, Hollingen joined HamKam on loan for the remainder of the season.
