2015 Gira Angola
The 2015 Segundona was the 21st season of the second-tier football league in Angola. The season ran from 11 July to 4 October 2015. The league comprised 2 series of 6 teams, the winner of each series being automatically promoted to the 2016 Girabola while the runners-up of each group contested for the third spot. At the end of the regular season, the three series winners played a round-robin tournament to determine the league champion. Real M'buco and Mpatu a Ponta who were supposed to contest in group A, withdrew citing financial reasons as did Malanje Sport Clube in group B for the same reason. All teams in each group play in a double round robin system (home and away). Estrela Clube Primeiro De Maio
Estrela Clube Primeiro de Maio, usually known simply as Primeiro de Maio or 1º de Maio, is a football (soccer) club from Benguela, Angola. The club was the result of a merger from two clubs: Estrela Vermelha de Benguela and Grupo Desportivo 1º de Maio being then named África Têxtil 1º de Maio de Benguela due to its then major sponsor, a Benguela-based textile factory called África Têxtil. Shortly afterwards, the name was changed to its present denomination. In its golden years, in the 1980s, the club has won two Angolan leagues (1983 and 1985), three Angolan cups (1982, 1983 and 2007) and one Angolan supercup (1985). Moreover, Primeiro de Maio became in 1994, the first Angolan club to reach the final of a CAF competition and to win the Angola Cup and the Angola Super Cup. 2015 Girabola
The 2015 Girabola was the 37th season of top-tier football in Angola. The season ran from 11 February to 10 October 2015. Recreativo do Libolo survived a late-season scare from 1º de Agosto to win their fourth Angolan championship, all in the past five years. Recreativo do Libolo needed a scoreless draw against Académica do Lobito in their final game to finish in a tie atop the standings with 1º de Agosto, who closed the season with six straight wins. Recreativo do Libolo won the tiebreaker based on head-to-head points. The league comprised 16 of teams and the bottom three were relegated to the 2016 Segundona. Domant, Onze Bravos and Sporting de Cabinda finished in the last three spots and were relegated. Eliseu Pereira dos Santos (born 1 October 1983), known simply as Eliseu (), is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played either as a left back or left winger. An own goal, also called a self goal, is where a player performs actions that result in them or their team scoring a goal on themselves, often resulting in a point for the opposing team, such as when a football player kicks a ball into their own net or goal, awarding the other team a point.
