The 2015 FIA European Rallycross Championship was the thirty-ninth season of the FIA European Championships for Rallycross Drivers. The season consisted of five rounds, commencing on 16 May with the Belgian round at Circuit Jules Tacheny Mettet, and culminating on 18 October, in Italy at Franciacorta. The 2015 FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy was the second season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The season consisted of thirteen rounds and started on 25 April with the Portuguese round at Montalegre. The season ended on 29 November, at Rosario, Santa Fe in Argentina. Lydden Hill Race Circuit (formerly known as Lydden Circuit) is a motorsport venue in Denton with Wootton, about half-way between Canterbury and Dover in Kent, England. The mile-long circuit is mainly used for Rallycross, Drift, Saloon and Sports car racing as well as Motorcycle racing. It is the shortest road racing circuit in the United Kingdom. The track was previously owned by the McLaren Group and is one of two motor racing circuits in the county of Kent, along with Brands Hatch.
