2015 FC Tobol Season
The 2015 FC Tobol season is the 17th successive season that the club playing in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan. Tobol will also play in the Kazakhstan Cup. Vardan Minasyan was sacked as the club's manager on 16 April 2015, with Sergei Kostanay taking over in a caretaker capacity. FC Tobol
FC Tobol ( kk, Тобыл футбол клубы, Tobyl Futbol Kluby) is a Kazakh professional football club based at the Central Stadium in Kostanay. They have been members of the Kazakhstan Premier League since its foundation in 1992. They won the Kazakhstan Premier League in 2010, and finished no lower than fourth place between the 2002 and 2010 seasons. In 2021 they won the title for the second time. History Following a surprise defeat to Kyzylzhar in the 2016 Kazakhstan Cup, manager Dmitriy Ogai left the club by mutual consent, with Oleg Lotov being appointed as interim manager on 30 April 2016. Lotov was replaced with Omari Tetradze as the club's manager on 30 May 2016. Sergei Mošnikov (born 7 January 1988) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Paide Linnameeskond. Club career Early career Mošnikov came through the youth system at Pärnu. He made his senior league debut while on loan at Vaprus in the Esiliiga. Çaykur Rizespor Kulübü is a Turkish professional football club based in Rize. The club play in the TFF First League. The club was founded on May 19, 1953, with green-yellow as club colours, but later changed to blue-green. FC Irtysh Pavlodar ( kk, Ертіс Футбол Клубы, ''Ertis Fýtbol Klýby'') was a Kazakh professional football club based at the Central Stadium in Pavlodar. Irtysh won the Kazakhstan Premier league in 1993 (as ''Ansat''), 1997, 1999, 2002 and 2003. Football Club Metalurh Donetsk ( uk, Футбо́льний клуб «Металу́рг» Доне́цьк, ) was a Ukrainian professional football club based in Donetsk that went bankrupt in July 2015. Karlen Mkrtchyan ( hy, Կառլեն Մկրտչյան; born 25 November 1988) is an Armenian professional footballer who most recently played as a midfielder for FC Pyunik in the Armenian Premier League. Aleksandr Anatolyevich Petukhov (russian: Александр Анато́льевич Петухов; born 11 January 1985) is a Kazakh professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper, most recently for FC Tobol. Career Born in Dzhezkazgan (now Jezkazgan), Petukhov began playing football with local side FC Atyrau. In 2003, he moved to Russia where he signed for FC Rubin Kazan. He played for Rubin's reserve and second teams from 2003 to 2006, including a brief stint as a left-back in 2004. After returning from Russia, Petukhov joined Tobol where he has been the club's starting goalkeeper.
