Pro Wrestling Guerrilla has held a variety of professional wrestling tournaments competed for by wrestlers that are a part of their roster. Sporadic tournaments Bad Ass Mother 3000 The Bad Ass Mother 3000 was a tournament held on August 29 and 30, 2003, in Eagle Rock, California and City of Industry, California. The winner of the tournament would become the inaugural PWG Champion. * * B-Boy suffered an injury and was replaced by Lil' Cholo. Pro Wrestling Guerrilla
Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Los Angeles, California. It is owned and operated by wrestlers themselves, having been created by Disco Machine, Excalibur, Scott Lost, Joey Ryan, Super Dragon, and Top Gun Talwar. Since then, Disco, Talwar and Lost have retired and left the company. Since 2007, Excalibur has been the head play-by-play commentator, with a rotation of wrestlers on color commentary. The promotion debuted on July 26, 2003, and is known for its unique mixes of humor and pro wrestling as well as their over the top press releases and show titles, such as "''Kee_ The _ee Out of Our _ool!''", "''Free Admission (Just Kidding)''", "''Straight to DVD''" and "''From Parts Well Known''". Kazushige Nosawa
, better known by his ring names Nosawa and , (born December 17, 1976) is a Japanese freelance professional wrestler, best known for his appearances in All Japan Pro Wrestling and various independent promotions. Career Early career (19952004) Nosawa spent most of his early career training and wrestling in Mexico, most notably with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He also spent much of his early career competing on the U.S. independent scene, Nosawa has competed for American promotions such as Ring of Honor (ROH), Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), and Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW). Marc Letzmann (born July 16, 1980), better known by his ring name Excalibur, is an American former professional wrestler and current play-by-play commentator for All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He is one of the six founders of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, where he continues to work as the company's " Liaison to the Board of Directors". Bryan Lloyd Danielson (born May 22, 1981) is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of the Blackpool Combat Club. William C. Welch (born December 18, 1977) is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name The Messiah. Professional wrestling career Welch's professional career began on November 11, 1996, after being trained at the Slam U. Wrestling Gym in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, California. Rick John Clements is an American retired professional wrestler better known by his ring name Quicksilver. He was based out of the California independent circuit, working for promotions such as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and SoCal Uncensored, but also worked for East Coast promotions such as Jersey All Pro Wrestling and Combat Zone Wrestling. He is also known for his appearances with Wrestling Society X under the ring name El Hombre Blanco Enmascarado. Christopher Hancock is an American retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his tenure in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla under the ring name Chris Bosh, where he was a three time PWG World Tag Team Champion. Tony Drake is an American professional wrestler, best known for his appearances in the short-lived Wrestling Society X. He currently competes on the independent circuit using the ring name Babi Slymm. Sara Ann Amato (born November 13, 1980) is an American professional wrestling trainer and retired professional wrestler, best known by her ring name Sara Del Rey. PWG World Tag Team Championship
The PWG World Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling world tag team championship contested for in the tag team division of the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) promotion. It was created and debuted on January 25, 2004, at PWG's Tango & Cash Invitational – Night Two event, where B-Boy and Homicide were crowned the inaugural champions. Being a professional wrestling championship, title reigns are not won legitimately; they are instead won via a scripted ending to a match or awarded to a wrestler because of a storyline.
