The 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup qualification (CFU–UNCAF play-off) was a home-and-away two-legged qualification play-off that took place on the 25th and 29th of March 2015 to determine the final team that qualified for the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup. In March 2014, CONCACAF Vice-President Horace Burrell announced that the fifth-placed teams from the 2014 Caribbean Cup and 2014 Copa Centroamericana would meet in the play-off. 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup
The 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 13th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup competition and the 23rd CONCACAF regional championship overall in the organization's fifty-four years of existence. It was held in the United States, with two matches being played in Canada, marking the first time the CONCACAF Gold Cup was played in that country. Mexico won the competition after surviving both the quarter-finals and semi-finals in controversial circumstances, defeating Jamaica – the first Caribbean nation to reach such a stage – in the final. 2014 Caribbean Cup
The 2014 Caribbean Cup was the 18th edition of the Caribbean Cup, an international football competition for national teams of member nations affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) of the CONCACAF region. The final competition stage (8 teams) was scheduled for 11–18 November. On 18 March 2014, it was announced that Jamaica would host the final stage. For the first time, the competition and its qualifying stages were scheduled to take place during officially sanctioned FIFA international match periods.
