Asia Talent Cup
Asia Talent Cup is a motorcycle road racing competition intended for young participants in Asia and Oceania. This competition is organized by Dorna, which also controls Grand Prix motorcycle racing and Superbike World Championship. The Asia Talent Cup was founded in 2013 and had its inaugural season in 2014. After three seasons under contract with Shell Advance, starting from the 2017 season, Idemitsu will be the main sponsor of the Asia Talent Cup. Alberto Puig was appointed as Director of the Asia Talent Cup from 2014. Somkiat Chantra ( th, สมเกียรติ จันทรา; born 15 December 1998) is a Thai motorcycle rider, competing in the Moto2 World Championship for Honda Team Asia. Career Early career Coming through the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup ranks, Chantra gained fame by becoming the champion in 2016. He competed in the 2017 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship, and qualified on Pole Position in the season opener, but crashed out of the race. He would finish 8th in Le Mans, 13th in Jerez, 7th in Aragon, and 10th in Valencia, finishing the season 20th overall, with 26 points. He stayed in the 2018 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship, and was a constant finisher in the high points scoring places, but could not score a podium, his season's best result a 4th place in France. Andi Farid Izdihar, also known as Andi Gilang (born 14 August 1997), is a motorcycle racer from Indonesia who currently races in Asia Superbike 1000 class of Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC). He previously participated in Moto3 for Honda Team Asia. Career Early career Izdihar was first introduced to motorcycle racing when he was 8, and started competing in local competitions in Bulukumba Regency at 10. He later joined Astra Honda Racing young riders development program in 2010. Between 2011 and 2013, Izdihar took part in Indospeed Race Series, riding a Honda CBR150R. Mobility Resort Motegi (モビリティリゾートもてぎ) is a motorsport race track located at Motegi, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. Originally named Twin Ring Motegi (ツインリンクもてぎ), the circuit's name came from the facility having two race tracks: a oval and a road course. It was built in 1997 by Honda Motor Co., Ltd., as part of the company's effort to bring the IndyCar Series to Japan, helping to increase their knowledge of American open-wheel racing. Zhuhai International Circuit
Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) (simplified Chinese: 珠海国际赛车场; traditional Chinese: ) is located at Jin Ding town in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, China. Motorsport started in Zhuhai when it hosted a race on its street circuit in 1993. Racing continued there until 1996 when the motor racing circuit was constructed and became China's first permanent motor race track with Formula One in mind.
