The 2015 Abierto Mexicano Telcel was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 22nd edition of the men's tournament (15th for the women), and part of the 2015 ATP World Tour and the 2015 WTA Tour. It took place in Acapulco, Mexico between 23 and 28 February 2015, at the Fairmont Acapulco Princess. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. Ivo Karlović (; born 28 February 1979) is a former Croatian professional tennis player. Janko Tipsarević ( sr-cyr, Јанко Типсаревић, ; born 22 June 1984) is a Serbian former tennis player. His career-high singles ranking is world No. 8, achieved on 2 April 2012. Dustin Brown (born 8 December 1984) is a German-Jamaican professional tennis player. He rose to fame after beating Rafael Nadal in the Halle Open, 2014 Halle Open and Wimbledon 2015, and is known for his technique, speed, and entertaining playing style, often entertaining the crowd with trick shots. Radek Štěpánek
Radek Štěpánek (; born 27 November 1978) is a Czech former professional tennis player. His career-high singles ranking was world No. 8 and best doubles ranking was world No. 4. Štěpánek's biggest achievements are reaching two Masters 1000 event finals and the quarterfinals of Wimbledon in 2006, as well as winning the deciding match for Czech Republic's Davis Cup winning team in 2012 and again in 2013. Viktor Troicki ( sr-Cyrl, Виктор Троицки, ; born 10 February 1986) is a Serbian former professional tennis player. He won his first ATP singles title at the 2010 Kremlin Cup, and his second and third ATP singles titles at the 2015 and 2016 Apia International Sydney. Harrison has won one career ATP title in singles at the 2017 Memphis Open to go along with four in doubles, including the 2017 French Open. Daniel Garza (; born 8 April 1985) is a Mexican professional tennis player. He participated in the Davis Cup representing Mexico eight times. His most important victory was during the 2008 Davis Cup tie against Uruguay which he won in four sets to Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas on carpet. He has a Davis Cup singles record of 16-8 as well as a doubles record of 6-2 for a combined total of 22-10.
