The 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball tournament was the postseason women's basketball tournament for the Atlantic Coast Conference held March 4–8, 2015, in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the Greensboro Coliseum. Seeding Tournament seeds are determined by teams' regular season conference record with tiebreakers determined by ACC tiebreaking rules. Greensboro Coliseum Complex
The Greensboro Coliseum Complex, commonly referred to as Greensboro Coliseum (the first and biggest building on the site), is an entertainment and sports complex located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Opened in 1959, the complex holds eight venues that includes an amphitheater, arena, aquatic center, banquet hall, convention center, museum, theatre, and an indoor pavilion. Brianna Turner (born July 5, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Mercury of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and for Virtus Bologna of the EuroCup Women. 2015 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Atlantic Coast Conference, held at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, from March 10–14, 2015. The tournament included fourteen of the fifteen ACC teams, as Syracuse did not compete due to a self-imposed postseason ban. Seeds 5 through 10 received a first-round bye, and the top four seeds received a "double bye" through the first round and second rounds. The 2015 tournament was the first to begin on a Tuesday and the first since 1981 to finish on a Saturday. The semifinals and championship game were played in the evening instead of their traditional afternoon timeslot. It was the fourth time a team has played 4 games (NC State in 1997 and 2007, Georgia Tech in 2010). Leticia Romero
Leticia Romero González (born 28 May 1995) is a Spanish basketball player from Agüimes who plays for Valencia Basket and the Spain women's national basketball team. She played three years in the Spain's top-tier league before spending her U.S. college career with Kansas State and Florida State. She played the 2018 WNBA season with the Dallas Wings. Stephanie Mavunga is an American and Polish professional basketball player who is currently a free agent. She was drafted by Indiana in the second round and 14th overall pick of the 2018 draft, becoming the first Zimbabwean-born player to be drafted by the WNBA. Dearica Marie Hamby (born November 6, 1993) is an American basketball player for the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
