2014–15 Wyoming Cowgirls Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Wyoming Cowgirls basketball team represents University of Wyoming in the 2014–15 college basketball season. The Cowgirls, led by twelfth year head coach Joe Legerski. The Cowgirls played their home games at the Arena-Auditorium and were members of the Mountain West Conference. They finish the season 16–14, 10–8 in Mountain West play for a tie to finish in fifth place. They advance to the quarterfinals of the 2015 Mountain West Conference women's basketball tournament where they lost to Fresno State in the quarterfinals. Joe Legerski
Joseph Julius Legerski (born July 24, 1957) is the retired former head women's basketball coach at the University of Wyoming. Coaching career Legerski earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business education from the University of Wyoming in 1979. After graduating from Wyoming, Legerski became a boys' varsity basketball assistant coach at Rock Springs High School, a position he would hold for five seasons. From 1984 to 1986, Legerski was the head women's basketball coach at Rock Springs High School. Following one season as head women's basketball coach at Western Wyoming Community College, Legerski was an assistant with the Wyoming Cowgirls basketball team from 1987 through 1991. From 1992 to 2003, Legerski was assistant coach at the Utah Utes women's basketball, University of Utah under Elaine Elliott; he was associate head coach from 1998 to 2003. Thompson Valley High School
Thompson Valley High School (TVHS) is located at 1669 Eagle Drive in Loveland, Colorado. Its mascot is the golden eagle. Campbell County High School is a public secondary institution (grades 10–12) located in Gillette, Wyoming, United States. History On December 5, 1998, Cheryl Trover, a math teacher at Campbell County High School, kidnapped and tied up her children, shot her husband John Trover with a .22-caliber pistol, and stabbed him to death with a hunting knife. She had stolen the gun from her lover of four years, John Riley, the principal at the same school. She then set fire to her pickup truck and lied to police about who committed her planned crimes.
