The 2014–15 Vanderbilt Commodores women's basketball team represented Vanderbilt University in the 2014–15 NCAA Division I women's basketball season, 2014–15 college basketball season. The team's head coach was Melanie Balcomb, in her thirteenth season at Vanderbilt. The team played their home games at Memorial Gymnasium (Vanderbilt University), Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville, Tennessee, as a member of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 15–16, 5–11 in SEC play to finish in a tie for eleventh place. Melanie Balcomb
Melanie Balcomb (born September 24, 1962) is an American basketball coach who is the head coach of the Ohio Dominican Panthers women's basketball team. She was previously the head coach for the Vanderbilt Commodores women's basketball, Vanderbilt women's basketball team from 2002–2016. Career Balcomb attended Hightstown High School, in Hightstown, New Jersey, where she starred as a point guard for the girls' varsity basketball team from 1976 to 1980. The 2014–15 Minnesota Golden Gophers women's basketball team represented the University of Minnesota in the 2014-15 college basketball season. Led by first year head coach Marlene Stollings for the Golden Gophers, members of the Big Ten Conference, played their home games at Williams Arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Alumni Gym (Elon University)
Alumni Gym is a 1,607-seat multi-purpose arena in Elon, North Carolina, United States. It was built in 1949 and was home to the Elon University men's and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball team through the 2017–18 school year. The gym was renovated in 1992 to install air conditioning, new flooring, additional seating, offices, classrooms and renovated locker rooms and again in 2010 with the addition of stadium-style seating in a horseshoe shape, new scoreboards and video boards, new locker rooms, and a new entrance.
