2014–15 Primera Divisió
The 2014–15 Primera Divisió was the 20th season of top-tier football in Andorra. It began on 21 September 2014, and ended in May 2015. The defending champions were FC Santa Coloma, who won their eighth championship in the previous season. FC Santa Coloma won the league again this season. Teams Clubs and locations Personnel and sponsorship Competition format The participating teams first played a conventional round-robin schedule with every team playing each opponent once "home" and once "away" for a total of 14 games. The league was then split up in two groups of four teams with each of them playing teams within its group in a home-and-away cycle of games. The top four teams competed for the championship. The Primera Divisió (First Division) or Lliga Multisegur Assegurances for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of men's football in Andorra. The league was launched in 1995 sponsored by the local federation (Andorran Football Federation) which was created just one year before. Until then, clubs had played since 1970 in an amateur league without a structure or affiliation with any official institution. Since affiliation to UEFA and FIFA in 1996, Andorran clubs are able to compete in the UEFA competitions. Until 2015 the league was known as ''Lliga Grup Becier'' and during 2016 ''Lliga Grup Sant Eloi''. It was renamed in 2017 as Lliga Multisegur Assegurances for sponsorship reasons. Víctor Manuel Torres Mestre (born 31 December 1970) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a left back. Playing career Torres Mestre was born in Madrid.
