2014–15 Huddersfield Town A.F.C. Season
The 2014–15 campaign was Huddersfield Town's third consecutive season in the second tier of English football, the Football League Championship. After losing their first game of the season, a 4–0 home loss to AFC Bournemouth, manager Mark Robins was relieved of his duties the following day. After 3 weeks of caretaker charge under Academy Manager Mark Lillis, the former Charlton Athletic manager, Chris Powell, was appointed as the new permanent manager on 3 September 2014. Huddersfield Town A
Huddersfield is a market town in the Kirklees district in West Yorkshire, England. It is the administrative centre and largest settlement in the Kirklees district. The town is in the foothills of the Pennines. The River Holme's confluence into the similar-sized Colne to the south of the town centre which then flows into the Calder in the north eastern outskirts of the town. The rivers around the town provided soft water required for textile treatment in large weaving sheds, this made it a prominent mill town with an economic boom in the early part of the Victorian era Industrial Revolution. Football League Championship
The English Football League Championship (often referred to as the Championship for short or the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship purposes) is the highest division of the English Football League (EFL) and second-highest overall in the English football league system, after the Premier League. The league is contested by 24 clubs. Sean Scannell (born 17 September 1990) is a professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Midfielder#Winger, winger for Isthmian League Premier Division club Hornchurch F.C., Hornchurch. Jonathan Lee Hogg (born 6 December 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays for Championship club Huddersfield Town as a central midfielder. He has previously played for Watford and Aston Villa, and spent periods on loan at Darlington and Portsmouth. Career Aston Villa Hogg was born in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire. Oldham is a large town in Greater Manchester, England, amid the Pennines and between the rivers Irk and Medlock, southeast of Rochdale and northeast of Manchester. Anthony Gerrard
Anthony Gerrard (born 6 February 1986) is a former professional footballer who played as a centre back. He made over 500 professional appearances in a career spent mainly in the English Football League, notably at Walsall where he won the 2006-07 League Two title and at Cardiff City where he was on the losing side as he faced his cousin Steven Gerrard's Liverpool side in the 2012 Football League Cup Final.
