Hannoverscher Sportverein von 1896, commonly referred to as Hannover 96 (), Hannover, HSV or simply 96, is a German professional football club based in the city of Hanover, Lower Saxony. They played in the Bundesliga for a total of 30 years between 1964 and 2019 and currently play in the 2. Bundesliga, the second tier in the German football league system, having been relegated from the Bundesliga, Germany's first tier, after finishing 17th in the 2018–19 season. Ceyhun Gülselam (born 25 December 1987) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a center back and defensive midfielder. He plays for Altay. Club career Gülselam also played eight years for the Bayern Munich Junior Team before joining SpVgg Unterhaching. Jimmy Julien Briand (born 2 August 1985) is a French professional footballer. He started his career as a striker, but is now usually deployed on the wing. Briand is a graduate of Clairefontaine academy and was a France youth international. Felipe Trevizan Martins or simply Felipe (born 15 May 1987) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Lemense. Career On 28 August 2009, Felipe Trevizan transferred from Coritiba Foot Ball Club to Belgium club Standard Liège, the transfer fee was € 1.2 million, plus an option for his old club with 10% involved in the resale. Christian Schulz
Christian Schulz (born 1 April 1983) is a German former professional footballer who played as a centre back or left-back. Club career Schulz joined Werder Bremen in 1995 at the age of twelve and stepped up to the reserve side, playing in the Regionalliga Nord in 2001–02. He made his Bundesliga debut on 15 February 2003 as a substitute against 1. FC Nürnberg. When Ümit Davala was injured, Schulz stepped in and made the left-back position his own. Marius Stankevičius (born 15 July 1981) is a Lithuanian football manager and former player who works as head coach of the Lithuania U-21. A former defender, he was the Lithuanian player of the year in 2008 and 2009. International career Stankevičius has also played as a defender for the Lithuania national team. Stefan Thesker (born 11 April 1991) is a German professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Holstein Kiel. Club career Twente Born in Ahaus, Germany, Thesker played for TuS Wüllen and Schalke 04 youth teams before moving to Netherlands, joining Twente in 2005 and subsequently signed his first professional contract four years later. André Hoffmann (born 28 February 1993) is a German footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or central defender for and captains Fortuna Düsseldorf. Markus Miller (born 8 April 1982) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career Born in Lindenberg im Allgäu, Miller started to play football at local amateur side FC Lindenberg and moved later to FC Wangen, another regional amateur side. Jan Schlaudraff (born 18 July 1983) is a German former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and striker. He is the sporting director of Hannover 96. Club career Born in Waldbröl, Schlaudraff started playing professionally for Borussia Mönchengladbach, mainly as a midfielder. José Luis Mato Sanmartín (; born 27 March 1990), known as Joselu (), is a Spanish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker for La Liga club RCD Espanyol, Espanyol. The team captain of an association football team, sometimes known as the skipper, is a team member chosen to be the on-pitch leader of the team; they are often one of the older or more experienced members of the squad, or a player that can heavily influence a game or has good leadership qualities.
