2014–15 Auburn Tigers Men's Basketball Team
The 2014–15 Auburn Tigers men's basketball team represented Auburn University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team's head coach was Bruce Pearl, in his first season at Auburn. The team played their home games at the Auburn Arena in Auburn, Alabama as a member of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 15–20, 4–14 in SEC play to finish in 13th place. They advanced to the semifinals of the SEC tournament where they lost to Kentucky. Bruce Pearl
Bruce Alan Pearl (born March 18, 1960) is an American college basketball coach, and the head coach of the Auburn Tigers men's basketball team. He previously served as the head coach at Tennessee, Milwaukee, and Southern Indiana. Pearl led Southern Indiana to a Division II national championship in 1995 and was named Division II Coach of the Year by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. He has won four conference championships and three conference tournament championships as a Division I head coach, and has made ten NCAA tournament appearances and one Final Four. Pearl was named Coach of the Year by Sporting News in 2006 and was awarded the Adolph Rupp Cup in 2008. He also served as the head coach for the Maccabi USA men's basketball team that won the gold medal at the 2009 Maccabiah Games. Charlotte 49ers Men's Basketball
The Charlotte 49ers men's basketball team represents the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte) in NCAA Division I basketball. The 49ers are charter members of Conference USA. Charlotte returned to C-USA in 2013 after leaving in 2005 to join the Atlantic 10 Conference. The 49ers have also played in the Sun Belt Conference and were a member of the Metro Conference, which merged with the Great Midwest Conference to form Conference USA. The basketball team has spent the better part of its history in the shadow of the state's four Atlantic Coast Conference teams. Jack Purchase
Jack Purchase (born 26 June 1995) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Melbourne Tigers of NBL1 South. He played college basketball for the Auburn Tigers and Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. Early life Purchase was born in Melbourne, Victoria, and attended Carey Baptist Grammar School. He played in the Big V for the Melbourne Tigers between 2012 and 2014. College career Purchase played college basketball in the United States for the Auburn Tigers during the 2014–15 season but saw limited playing time and transferred to the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. Antoine Mason (born May 24, 1992) is an American basketball player for Al Wehdat of the Jordanian Premier Basketball League. The New Mexico State Aggies men's basketball team represents New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Marshall Thundering Herd men's basketball team represents Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. They compete in the NCAA Division I as a member of the Sun Belt Conference.
