2014–15 AJIHL Season
The 2014–15 AJIHL season is the third season of the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League. It ran from 4 October 2014 until 21 February 2015, with the finals running from 28 February 2015 until 1 March 2015. The AJIHL is the highest Australian national junior ice hockey competition. League business The regular season began on 4 October 2014 and ran through to 21 February 2015 before the teams competed in the playoff series. The Perth Pelicans and Perth Sharks had a game cancelled, 15 November 2014 which was never rescheduled meaning both teams finished the season a game short of the other teams. Australian Junior Ice Hockey League
The Australian Junior Ice Hockey League (AJIHL) is an elite amateur national ice hockey league in Australia, open to players 20 years of age or younger. History The Australian Junior Ice Hockey League was first announced on 18 September 2012 by Ice Hockey Australia. The inaugural season consisted of four teams – Melbourne Blackhawks, Melbourne Red Wings, Sydney Lightning and the Sydney Maple Leafs, with teams being operated by their respective state governing body. The first season started on 20 October 2012 at the Medibank Icehouse in Melbourne and ran until March 2013 with the finals to be held on 9 and 10 March 2013. The Sydney Maple Leafs won the inaugural AJIHL finals after beating the Melbourne Red Wings in a tie-breaking sudden overtime period after the teams leveled the two game series. The Maple Leafs had defeated the Sydney Lightning the week before in the Sydney semi-final, while the Red Wings won the Melbourne semi-final against the Blackhawks 7–3 to progress into ...

Melbourne Glaciers
The Melbourne Glaciers are an Australian junior ice hockey team based in Melbourne, Victoria playing in the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League. They represent one of the two junior ice hockey teams from Victoria currently playing in the AJIHL, which is the most elite level for ice hockey at a national level for ages between 16 and 20 years old. History AJIHL The Melbourne Red Wings were founded 18 September 2012 following the announcement by Ice Hockey Australia of the formation of the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League. The team is controlled by the Victorian Ice Hockey Association.
