2014 Vuelta A Colombia
The 2014 Vuelta a Colombia was the 64th edition of the Vuelta a Colombia cycling stage race, and was held from 6 to 17 August 2014. It was won by the Spanish cyclist Óscar Sevilla. 2013–14 UCI America Tour
The 2013–14 UCI America Tour was the tenth season for the UCI America Tour. The season began on 6 October 2013 with the Tobago Cycling Classic and ended on 25 December 2014 with the Vuelta a Costa Rica. The points leader, based on the cumulative results of previous races, wears the UCI America Tour cycling jersey. Janier Acevedo from Colombia is the defending champion of the 2012–13 UCI America Tour. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Dosquebradas
Dosquebradas () is the second largest city and a municipality in the Risaralda Department, Colombia. , it had a population of approximately 207,000 inhabitants. The city is connected by the César Gaviria Trujillo Viaduct to Pereira, the capital of the department. The name of the city literally means "two creeks" (''dos quebradas''), Santa Teresita and Las Garzas. Dosquebradas is sometimes called the Pink Zone (''Zona Rosa'') of Pereira because it has many nightclubs and bars, which are filled with young people on the weekends. It grew up as an industrial center serving Pereira in the 1970s and 1980s. With the construction of El Poblado neighborhood (low-income housing) it experienced a population boom, providing residence to many families that commuted to Pereira for work.
