Viking Fotballklubb, commonly known as Viking or Viking Stavanger internationally, is a Norwegian football club from the city of Stavanger. The club was founded in 1899. It is one of the most successful clubs in Norwegian football, having won 8 Norwegian top division titles, most recently in 1991, and 6 domestic Norwegian Cup titles, most recently in 2019. Kristoffer Haugen (born 21 February 1994) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Eliteserien club Molde. Early life Haugen hails from Verdalen. He started his career in Voll IL, but joined the youth ranks of Viking in 2007. It was a successful youth team, which won the national boys-16 football cup in 2009. Steinþór Freyr Þorsteinsson (born 29 July 1985) is an Icelandic footballer who currently plays for KA in the Besta deild. He is known for his outstanding athleticism and long throw-ins. Indriði Sigurðsson (born 12 October 1981) is an Icelandic former football defender. He last played for the Icelandic club KR Reykjavik. Club career He started his career in KR Reykjavik, and went to Norway to play for Lillestrøm SK in 2000. In September 2003 he moved on to KRC Genk in Belgium. Yann-Erik Randa Bahezre de Lanlay (born 14 May 1992) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a winger for Viking in Eliteserien. André Saltvold Danielsen (born 20 January 1985) is a Norwegian former footballer who played as a right-back or central midfielder. Club career Born in Stavanger, Danielsen started his career with Stavanger IF before joining Viking in 2003. In the fall of 2005 he was loaned out to Bryne.
