The 2014 Taça da Liga Final was the final match of the 2013–14 Taça da Liga, the seventh season of the Taça da Liga. S.L. Benfica, Benfica defeated Rio Ave F.C., Rio Ave 2–0 to win a record fifth title in the competition. Estádio Do Restelo
The Estádio do Restelo is a multi-purpose stadium in Lisbon, Portugal. The stadium has a capacity of 19,856 people and was built in 1956, in an old stone quarry. It is situated behind the Jerónimos Monastery in the Lisbon parish of Belém. It is currently used mostly for football matches, by first division club Clube de Futebol Os Belenenses, but also stages musical performances. The Pope John Paul II has also celebrated a mass there attended by more than 100,000 people. The inauguration game was against Sporting CP, and Belenenses won by 2–1. Bruno Manuel Araújo Braga (born 17 June 1983) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for S.C. Salgueiros as a midfielder. Club career Born in Massarelos, Porto District, Braga began his career with hometown's S.C. Salgueiros, being sparingly used over the course of two second division seasons. In 2004, as the club was in the midst of a severe financial crisis – which eventually led to its liquidation – he left and signed for F.C. Paweł Kieszek (; born 16 April 1984) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for União Leiria. After starting out at Polonia Warsaw he went on to spend most of his professional career in Portugal, signing in 2007 with Braga. Joeano Pinto Chaves (born 12 August 1979), known simply as Joeano, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Born in Fortaleza, Ceará, Joeano moved to Portugal, where he would remain for the majority of his career, at the age of 20, signing with amateurs C.D. Nuno Herlander Simões Espírito Santo (born 25 January 1974), often referred to as simply Nuno, is a Portuguese football manager and former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is currently the manager of Saudi Professional League club Al-Ittihad. During his career he first made a name for himself in Spain, playing for three teams in five years. He later returned to Portugal to represent Porto, and also played professionally in Russia; he was part of the Portuguese squad at UEFA Euro 2008, but never won a cap for the national team. Nélson Miguel Martins Pedroso (born 18 June 1985) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Merelinense. Club career Pedroso was born in Guimarães. He started playing at the professional level at the age of 23, appearing in only three Primeira Liga games for C.F. Ahmed Hassan Mohamed Abdelmonem Mohamed Mahgoub ( ar, أحمد حسن محمد عبد المنعم محمد محجوب; born 5 March 1993), known as Kouka or Koka, is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Turkish club Alanyaspor, on loan from Olympiacos, and the Egypt national team. He began his career in his native Egypt in the youth academy at Al Ahly but joined Portuguese side Rio Ave in 2012 without appearing for the first team. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. Organised and supervised by the Liga Portugal, it is contested by 18 teams since the 2014–15 season, with the three lowest placed teams relegated to the Liga Portugal 2 and replaced by the top-three non-reserve teams from this division. Founded in 1934 as Campeonato da Liga da Primeira Divisão, it was named Campeonato Nacional da Primeira Divisão from 1938 until 1999, when it was changed to its current naming.
