Nelson Ledesma
Nelson Lautaro Ledesma (born 25 July 1990) is an Argentinian professional golfer who currently plays on PGA Tour. He has won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour. Professional career Ledesma turned professional in 2007 and played much of his early career on the Argentine national professional golf tour, winning the Order of Merit in 2014, the Tour de las Américas and the PGA Tour Latinoamérica. He gained his card on the second tier United States based Web.com Tour for the 2018 season after finishing 5th on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica Order of Merit in 2017. Ledesma won on his debut season on the Web.com Tour at the LECOM Health Challenge. This was his only top-10 finish of the season and he finished 42nd in the money list. He claimed his second victory on the renamed Korn Ferry Tour the following year at the TPC Colorado Championship, and finished the season in 8th place on the regular season points list to earn his card on the PGA Tour for the 2019–20 season. Mauricio Molina (golfer)
Mauricio Molina (born 20 December 1966) is an Argentine professional golfer. Career Molina was born in Rio Cuarto, Cordoba. He worked as a caddie in Buenos Aires, before turning professional in 1985. He is the nephew of the Argentine golfer, Florentino Molina. Molina won several tournaments in Argentina and South America, including the Mendoza Open in 1999 and the Metropolitan Championship in 2009. In 1997 he shot 59 in the first round of the Nautico Hacoaj Grand Prix to set the record for the best round in Argentina. In 2009 Molina played on the Canadian Tour and recorded two victories at the Costa Rica Classic and Mexican PGA Championship, finishing the season in fourth place on the Order of Merit. Molina played on the European Tour in 1998 and 2001, and the second tier Challenge Tour between 2003 and 2008. Sergio Acevedo (golfer)
Sergio Edgardo Acevedo (born 1 May 1956) is an Argentine Justicialist Party politician, formerly a provincial governor and secretary in the national government. Life and times Born in Esquel, Chubut Province, Acevedo moved to Pico Truncado in 1958. He became a lawyer and married, having three children. He was elected mayor of Pico Truncando in 1983, serving until 1987 when he became a provincial deputy. In 1991 he returned to be mayor. From 1995 to 1999, Acevedo was a national deputy, and became vice-governor of Santa Cruz Province under then-governor Néstor Kirchner. In 2001 he was elected once again to Congress. Acevedo was appointed Secretary of Intelligence by President Eduardo Duhalde, serving from 2002 to mid-2003. Miguel Ángel Carballo (born 22 March 1979) is an Argentine professional golfer. Known affectionately as ''"El Tati"'', Carballo was the first Argentine to win on the Nationwide Tour. The Coast Open, or Abierto del Litoral, is a golf tournament played in Argentina. Founded in 1932 as the Torneo de Profesionales (Professional Tournament), a name only used for the first two editions, it has always been played at the Rosario Golf Club in Rosario, Santa Fe. The tournament has been a fixture on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica Developmental Series. It was previously an annual stop on the higher level Tour de las Américas from 2000 until 2010 having been an event on that tours predecessor, the South American Tour, between 1993 and 1999. It was also included on the European Challenge Tour schedule in 2007 (2008 Challenge Tour, 2008 season), being one of five tournaments held in Latin America, and four in Argentina, that season. Fidel de Luca has the most victories, with eight. In 1932, 1952 and 1983 the championship ended in a tie, with no playoff being held to determine an outright winner. Andrés Romero
Andrés Fabián Romero (born 8 May 1981) is an Argentine professional golfer who plays on both the PGA Tour and European Tour. Career Romero was born in Tucumán. He won his European Tour card by finishing 14th on the Challenge Tour rankings in 2005. His rookie season included a tied for second finish at the Scottish Open and a tied for eighth finish in The Open Championship. Romero finished placed 35th on the Order of Merit. In the 2007 Open Championship, Romero placed third, behind Sergio García and Pádraig Harrington, making ten birdies on the last day of play. He briefly led the field by two strokes, but made a double bogey on the 17th hole and a bogey on the 18th to miss a play-off by one shot. Sebastián Saavedra (born 2 June 1990) is a Colombian racing driver from Bogotá. In 2014, he drove for KVSH Racing in the Verizon IndyCar Series before being replaced by former GP2 Series driver Stefano Coletti. Racing career Early career After a childhood in karting, Saavedra drove in Formula BMW USA for Gelles Racing, finishing 11th in points. He also drove in two races in Formula BMW ADAC and competed in the Formula BMW World Final, finishing 32nd.
