The 2014 Polish Speedway season was the 2014 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 2014 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 14 August at Zielona Góra. Krzysztof Kasprzak won the Polish Championship. Golden Helmet (Poland), Golden Helmet The 2014 Golden Golden Helmet ( pl, Turniej o Złoty Kask, ZK) organised by the Polski Związek Motorowy, Polish Motor Union (PZM) was the 2014 event for the league's leading riders. The final was held at Rawicz on the 12 October. Przemysław Pawlicki won the Golden Helmet for the first time. His brother Piotr had won it two years earlier in 2012 Polish speedway season, 2012. The 2013 Polish Speedway season was the 2013 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 2013 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 6 October at Tarnów. Janusz Kołodziej (speedway rider), Janusz Kołodziej won the Polish Championship for the third time. Sebastian Ułamek
Sebastian Ułamek (born 20 November 1975) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. He was a European individual Champion. Career Ułamek rode in the Polish leagues for his home club Włókniarz Częstochowa from 1992 until 1998 and then Gdańsk from 1999 to 2000 (the 2000 season was in the Ekstraliga). He began to establish himself as one of the leading riders and participated in his first Grand Prix series during the 1998 Speedway Grand Prix season. He made his British league debut in 2000, when riding several times for Wolverhampton Wolves before returning to Poland to ride for Wrocław. On 12 August 2001 he won the Continental Final, which formed part of the 2002 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification. He aslso won a silver medal with Poland at the 2001 Speedway World Cup. Robert Miśkowiak (born 21 November 1983 in Rawicz, Poland) is a former motorcycle speedway rider form Poland. Career In 2003, he reached the final of the Speedway Under-21 World Championship. Adrian Miedziński
Adrian Miedziński (born 20 August 1985 in Toruń, Poland) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider. Career He has won the Team Under-21 World Champion and Individual Under-21 Polish Champion titles. In 2022, while riding for Bydgoszcz he suffered a serious crash which resulted in him being put into an induced coma due to brain and spinal injuries. Damian Baliński
Damian Baliński (born 5 August 1977, in Poland) is an international motorcycle speedway rider and a current member of Poland national team. He has ridden since 1994 with Unia Leszno. His older brother Dariusz and his son Damian Jr. (Damian's nephew; b. 1989) are also speedway riders. Baliński is married to Aneta. They have two sons, Mikołaj and Filip (b. 2009). Grzegorz Walasek
Grzegorz Walasek (born 29 August 1976) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider who has ridden for the Polish national team and has also competed in the Speedway Grand Prix series. Career Born in Krosno Odrzańskie, Poland, Walasek began his senior career in 1993 with ZKŻ Zielona Góra, and won the Polish Under-21 Championship in 1997. In 2000, he began riding in the UK with Poole Pirates. In 2004, he won the senior Polish individual championship. He was part of the Polish team that won the Speedway World Cup in 2005 and 2007. Walasek rode in 22 Speedway Grand Prix, reaching one final and scoring a total of 138 points. For his sporting achievements, he received the Golden Cross of Merit in 2007. The Polski Związek Motorowy (PZM, PZMot) ( en, Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation) is an automobile club and the governing body of motorsports in Poland. It is based in Warsaw. Szymon Woźniak
Szymon Woźniak (born 6 May 1993) is a Polish speedway rider. Career He rode for his hometown club, Polonia Bydgoszcz in the Speedway Ekstraliga up to 2015 before moving to Sparta Wrocław for the 2016 season. He rode for the Poland U-21 national team and won the Polish Under-21 Championship in 2014. He was part of the Leicester Lions team in the British Elite League in 2015 and 2016. In 2017 he won the Polish Championship, beating Przemyslaw Pawlicki, Patryk Dudek, and Jaroslaw Hampel in the final. Personal life Woźniak has one older brother.
