2014 LPGA Of Korea Tour
The 2014 LPGA of Korea Tour was the 37th season of the LPGA of Korea Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Korea Ladies Professional Golf' Association. It consisted of 29 golf tournaments, 25 played in South Korea, two in China, one in Taiwan, and one in Japan. Kim Hyo-joo won five tournaments and was the leading money winner with earnings of ₩1,208,978,590. The LPGA of Korea Tour is a South Korean professional golf tour for women. LPGA stands for Ladies Professional Golf Association. LPGA of Korea runs this tour, not the American LPGA. Baek Kyu-jung
Baek Kyu-jung (born 15 October 1995), also known as Q Baek, is a South Korean professional golfer. As an amateur, Baek played on the winning South Korean team in the Espirito Santo Trophy in 2012 alongside Kim Hyo-joo and Kim Min-sun. Baek turned professional on 16 October 2012 and plays on the LPGA of Korea Tour (KLPGA). She won four events in her rookie year (2014). One of the events was the LPGA KEB-HanaBank Championship, a tournament co-sanctioned by the LPGA Tour. She later accepted membership on the LPGA Tour for 2015. Heo is a family name in Korea. It is also often spelled as Hur or Huh, or less commonly as Her. In South Korea in 1985, out of a population of between roughly 40 and 45 million, there were approximately 264,000 people surnamed Heo. The name is also found in North Korea. Chuncheon (; ; formerly romanized as Chunchŏn; literally ''spring river'') is the capital of Gangwon Province in South Korea. Pocheon () is an inland city in the far northeastern region of Gyeonggi province in South Korea. It covers 2 with a population of 160,176 people, according to the 2008 census.
