2014 Georgia State Panthers Baseball Team
The 2014 Georgia State Panthers baseball team represented Georgia State University in the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Panthers played their home games at the GSU Baseball Complex. 2014 represents the first year of GSU playing back in the Sun Belt Conference. The Panthers finished the season with a 25-31, going 11-19 in the Sun Belt Conference, going 19-14 at home vs 6-17 away. The Panthers finished 9th in the Sun Belt. Greg Frady
Greg Frady (born December 2, 1962) is an American college baseball coach. He was most recently the head coach of the Georgia State Panthers baseball team since the start of the 2007 season until the end of the 2019 season. He also served as general manager of the German National team. Frady was the head coach at North Florida Community College from 1990–1996. Before serving as North Florida Community College head coach, Frady played for Troy from 1984–1987. He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Columbus State University. From 1997–2003, he served as an assistant at Central Florida before being hired as an assistant coach at Georgia State in 2004. He became general manager for the German national team in 2004 and head coach at Georgia State in 2007. Kennesaw, GA
Kennesaw is a suburban city northwest of Atlanta in Cobb County, Georgia, United States, located within the greater Atlanta metropolitan area. Known from its original settlement in the 1830s until 1887 as Big Shanty, it became Kennesaw under its 1887 charter. According to the 2010 census, Kennesaw had a population of 29,783, but in 2019 it had a population of 34,077 showing a 14.4% increase in population over the past decade.
