2014 FFSA GT Championship
The 2014 FFSA GT Championship season was the eighteenth season of the FFSA GT Championship, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded by the French automobile club Fédération Française du Sport Automobile. The season started on 26 April at Le Mans and ended on 26 October at Le Castellet after seven double-header meetings. The drivers' championship was won by IMSA Performance drivers Raymond Narac and Nicolas Armindo, finishing just two points of their nearest rivals, Henri Hassid and Mike Parisy. A further five points behind in third place were Saintéloc Racing's David Hallyday and Grégory Guilvert. Narac and Armindo won the most races during the season with three victories. FFSA GT Championship
The FFSA GT Championship (''Championnat de France FFSA GT'') is a French Grand Touring-style sports car racing series that began in 1997. It is the main event of the ''Championnat de France des Circuits'' (formerly called ''Super Série FFSA'' and ''GT Tour''). It is controlled by the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA) and organized by racing company Oreca. Since the demise of the French Supertouring Championship after the 2005 season, the French GT has become France's major circuit racing championship. Éric Cayrolle (born 27 August 1962 in Pau) is a French auto racing driver. Racing career He is a three-time champion of the French Supertouring Championship, winning for three consecutive years between 1996 and 1998. Prior to this he competed in Formula Renault and Formula Three in his native country. After his success in the French Supertouring Championship he moved to the European series in 2001, which became the European Touring Car Championship the following year. Olivier Panis
Olivier Panis (; born 2 September 1966) is a French former racing driver. Panis raced in Formula One for ten seasons, earning his first and only win at the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix for the Ligier team. He is the father of racing driver Aurélien Panis. Career Born in Oullins, Lyon, Panis, like many Formula 1 racing drivers, raced karts early in his career. Circuit Paul Armagnac also known as Circuit de Nogaro is a motorsport race track located in the commune of Nogaro in the Gers department in southwestern France. The track is named in honor of Nogaro-born racing driver Paul Armagnac who died in an accident during practice for the 1962 1000 km de Paris at the Montlhéry circuit. History Motorsports racing events in Nogaro were first organized when racing driver Paul Armagnac and Robert Castagnon created the Association Sportive Automobile de l'Armagnac. In 1953 the Rallye de l'Armagnac was held on a street circuit using public roads around Nogaro. André Lotterer (born 19 November 1981) is a German professional racing driver currently racing for Avalanche Andretti Formula E in the FIA Formula E Championship. Enzo Ide (born 22 June 1991 in Tielt) is a Belgian racing driver. Racing career Ide began his racing career in Belcar, racing a Porsche 997 GT3 for Prospeed Competition, together with Ruben Maes.
