2014 FA Women's Cup Final
The 2014 FA Women's Cup Final was the 44th final of the FA Women's Cup, England's primary cup competition for women's football teams. The showpiece event was the 21st to be played directly under the auspices of the Football Association (FA). The final was contested between Arsenal Ladies and Everton Ladies on 1 June 2014 at stadium:mk in Milton Keynes. Holders Arsenal made its 14th final appearance, after winning the 2013 final. Everton was appearing in its fifth final. As FA WSL 1 clubs, both teams entered the competition at the fifth round stage. Arsenal beat Gillingham (2–0), Birmingham City (2–1) and Chelsea (5–3) to reach the final. Everton defeated Cardiff City (3–1), Liverpool (2–0) and Notts County (2–1). The victory gave Arsenal a rare FA Cup double with the men's team winning the final two weeks before. Danielle Carter-Loblack (born 18 May 1993) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for FA WSL club Brighton & Hove Albion and the England national team. Club career Carter came through the ranks at the Leyton Orient Girls Centre of Excellence. In 2009, she moved to Arsenal, while remaining at school in Romford. In the 2010 FA Women's Cup Final, Carter was a 70th-minute substitute for Julie Fleeting, but Arsenal lost 3–2 to Everton after extra time. Emma Mukandi
Emma Mukandi ( Mitchell; born 19 September 1992) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for FA WSL club Reading. She began her senior career with Glasgow City then joined German Frauen-Bundesliga club SGS Essen. Primarily a defender, Mukandi has also played as a forward. Niamh Fahey
Niamh Fahey (born 13 October 1987) is an Irish footballer who plays as a defender or midfielder for Liverpool in the Women's Super League and the Republic of Ireland women's national football team. Casey Jean Stoney (born 13 May 1982) is an English professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of San Diego Wave FC. A versatile defender, she was capped more than 100 times for the England women's national football team since making her debut in 2000.
