2014 European Archery Championships
The 2014 European Archery Championships is the 23rd edition of the European Archery Championships. The event was held in Echmiadzin, Armenia from July 21 to July 26, 2014. Championships also served as qualification event for Archery at the 2015 European Games, 2015 European Games. Echmiadzin
Vagharshapat ( hy, Վաղարշապատ ) is the 4th-largest city in Armenia and the most populous municipal community of Armavir Province, located about west of the capital Yerevan, and north of the closed Turkish-Armenian border. It is commonly known as Ejmiatsin (also spelled Echmiadzin or Etchmiadzin, , ), which was its official name between 1945 and 1995. It is still commonly used colloquially and in official bureaucracy (dual naming). Maja Jager
Maja Buskbjerg Jager (born 22 December 1991) is a Danish recurve archer. A two-time competitor at the Olympic Games (2012 and 2020), Jager was the women's individual champion at the 2013 World Archery Championships, an achievement for which she was awarded the Danish Sports Name of the Year prize for 2013. She is also a multiple medalist at the European Games and the European Archery Championships. Early and personal life Jager was born on 22 December 1991 in Nørre Broby to Jan and Hanne Jager. Justyna Mospinek (born 8 November 1983 in Zgierz) is an athlete from Poland who competes in archery. 2004 Summer Olympics Mospinek represented Poland at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She placed 7th in the women's individual ranking round with a 72-arrow score of 657. In the first round of elimination, she faced 58th-ranked Maydenia Sarduy of Cuba. Lisa Unruh (born 12 April 1988) is a German athlete who competes in recurve archery. Unruh represented Germany at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro winning the silver medal. Elena Richter (born 3 July 1989) is a retired German archer. She contested the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's individual competition, where she was eliminated in the second knockout round placing 30th place in the preliminary ranking round.
