Chantal Blaak
Chantal van den Broek-Blaak (née Blaak; born 22 October 1989) is a Dutch road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . In 2017 she became world road race champion in Bergen, Norway. Career Junior career Van den Broek-Blaak was the Dutch national junior time trial champion in 2006 and 2007. She was European under-23 road race champion in 2009 and was also third in the Ronde van Drenthe race of the UCI Women's Road World Cup in that year. Professional career Van den Broek-Blaak began her professional career in 2008 with the Dutch and remained with them until they disbanded at the end of 2012, after which she raced for the US team for a year. In 2014, she joined and won her first UCI Women's Road World Cup race, the Open de Suède Vårgårda. Emma Johansson
Emma Karolina Johansson (born 23 September 1983) is a Swedish retired professional racing cyclist. Nicknamed ''Silver Emma'', Johansson accumulated many second and third places at major championships and one-day classics. In 2013 she finished the year as number one on the UCI Women's World Ranking. She won the silver medal in the women's road race at both the 2008 and 2016 Summer Olympics, as well as one silver and two bronze medals at the Road World championships. She also holds a record four podium finishes at the Tour of Flanders for Women, with one second and three third places. Despite her amassing of podium places, she won several one-day races, including Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Ronde van Drenthe, Trofeo Alfredo Binda-Comune di Cittiglio, Omloop van het Hageland, Le Samyn and the Holland Hills Classic. Ronde Van Drenthe (women's Race)
Ronde van Drenthe ( en, Tour of Drenthe) is an elite men's and women's professional road bicycle racing event held annually in the Drenthe, Netherlands and sanctioned by the Royal Dutch Cycling Union. The women's event is part of the UCI Women's World Tour, and the men's event is part of the UCI Europe Tour. History Men's event The race was first held in 1960 as an amateur event. Since 2005, the men's event has been part of the UCI Europe Tour. It became a 1.HC race in 2017. Between 2010 and 2015, Dwars door Drenthe was held on the same weekend as the Ronde van Drenthe. In 2011, Ronde van Drenthe and Dwars door Drenthe were held as a combined stage race, with each day retaining its own branding. The events reverted to being separate events in 2012. Chloe Hosking (born 1 October 1990) is an Australian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Hosking has represented Australia at junior and then senior levels since 2007. Following success in a number of international events she turned professional in 2010. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Women's road race, and won the women's road race at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Personal life Childhood and early life Hosking was born in Bendigo, Victoria, and moved to the suburb of Campbell in the Australian Capital Territory. Wiggle High5 Pro Cycling () was a British professional cycling team based in Belgium, which competed in elite road bicycle racing and track cycling events, such as the UCI Women's Road World Cup. Emilia Fahlin (born 24 October 1988) is a Swedish road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Fahlin has won the Swedish National Road Race Championships three times (2008, 2013, 2018) and the Swedish National Time Trial Championships three times in a row from 2009 to 2011. Career Born in Örebro, Sweden, Fahlin competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London during the women's road race, finishing 19th, and in the women's time trial, finishing 17th. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she finished 27th in the Women's road race. Beatrix "Trixi" Worrack (born 28 September 1981) is a German former professional road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2000 and 2021. The winner of the 2003 German National Road Race Championships, Worrack's career highlights included winning the 2005 Primavera Rosa (the women's Milan–San Remo), capturing the overall title at the 2004 Tour de l'Aude Cycliste Féminin and competing in the women's road race at five Summer Olympic Games between 2004 and 2020. Amy Pieters
Amy Pieters (born 1 June 1991) is a Dutch professional road and track cyclist, who is contracted to ride for UCI Women's WorldTeam . She was a member of the Dutch team that finished sixth at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the team pursuit (together with Ellen van Dijk, Kirsten Wild and Vera Koedooder). On 23 December 2021, Pieters was placed in an induced coma and underwent emergency surgery to relieve pressure on her brain caused by a fall that day during a training ride near Alicante with the Dutch national track team. After being repatriated to the Netherlands the following month, Pieters had regained consciousness in April but, due to the brain injury suffered, doctors were unsure of her "residual symptoms and remaining abilities".
