2014 BWF World Junior Championships – Mixed Doubles
The Mixed Doubles tournament of the 2014 BWF World Junior Championships was held on April 13–18. Huang Kaixiang and Chen Qingchen from China clinched the title for 2 years in a row after won another final against Indonesian pair, this time Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Rosyita Eka Putri Sari by 21-12 21-17. For Indonesia this was the fourth straight years they were in the final of mixed double. Arisa Higashino
is a Japanese badminton player. She won bronze in the mixed team at the Asian Junior Championships in 2013 and 2014, and competed at the 2014 World Junior Championships, winning two bronzes in the mixed doubles and team event. Higashino won her maiden Super 1000 tournament at the 2018 and 2021 All England Open in the mixed doubles event, partnering with Yuta Watanabe, and also won the bronze medal in the mixed doubles at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Career Higashino was born in Iwamizawa, graduated from the Tomioka Senior High School, and joined the Unisys team in 2015. In March 2021, Higashino and Watanabe won the mixed doubles title in the All England Open. Yuta Watanabe (badminton)
is a Japanese badminton player. He is a member of the Nihon Unisys team, and national team A representative. He is known for his quick and explosive movements with his signature drop shots on court. Watanabe has collected three bronze medals at the World Junior Championships, and also four bronze at the Asian Junior Championships. Yeo Jia Min (; born 1 February 1999) is a Singaporean badminton player. She is a former World Junior No.1 and the first Singaporean in either the junior or senior categories to made it to the top of the BWF's ranking system. Early life Yeo was born in Singapore to Malaysian Chinese emigrants who moved to Singapore and became permanent residents.
