The 2014 BNP Paribas de Nouvelle-Calédonie was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the eleventh edition of the tournament which was part of the 2014 ATP Challenger Tour. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Peter Polansky
Peter Polansky ( ; born June 15, 1988) is a Canadian professional tennis player of Czech origin. He was Canada's top singles player from June 21, 2010, until January 17, 2011, in the ATP rankings. He was also Canada's No. 2 from August 4, 2008, until June 21, 2010, with the exception of one week. In 2018, he became the first player in the Open Era to qualify for all four Grand Slam tournaments as a lucky loser within the same calendar year. He is currently coaching fellow Canadian Denis Shapovalov while on a hiatus from competing professionally. Personal Polansky ( cz, Polanský) was born in North York, Ontario, Canada. Blaž Rola (born 5 October 1990) is a Slovenian tennis player. His highest career ranking is No. 78 in singles and No. 186 in doubles. In his career, he has won nine singles and six doubles ITF Futures tournaments, five ATP Challenger in singles and eight in doubles. He represents Slovenia on the Slovenia Davis Cup team. Steven Diez
Steven Diez ( es, Díez, ; born March 17, 1991) is a Canadian and former Spanish professional tennis player. Raised primarily in and competing for Spain early in his career, he has since gone on to represent the country of his birth, Canada, in the Davis Cup. Diez was a member of the Canadian team that won the 2022 ATP Cup. Denys Petrovych Molchanov ( uk, Денис Петрович Молчанов; born 16 May 1987) is a Ukrainian tennis player playing on the ATP Challenger Tour winning 15 singles and 62 doubles titles. He has also won one ATP doubles title. On 5 January 2015 he reached his highest ATP singles ranking of World No. 169, whilst his highest doubles ranking of No. 63 was reached on 22 July 2019.
