2014 Arizona State Sun Devils Football Team
The 2014 Sun Devils football team represented Arizona State University in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by third-year head coach Todd Graham and played their home games at Sun Devil Stadium. They were a member of the South Division of the Pac-12 Conference. The Sun Devils finished the season 10–3 (6–3 in Pac-12 play) with a 36–31 victory over Duke in the Sun Bowl. It marked the first time since 1973 that Arizona State won ten or more games in back-to-back seasons. Todd Graham
Michael Todd Graham (born December 5, 1964) is an American football coach and former player. He was most recently the head football coach at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (2020–2021). Graham has served as the head football coach at Rice University (2006), the University of Tulsa (2007–2010), the University of Pittsburgh (2011), and Arizona State University (2012–2017). Playing career Graham was an all-district defensive back at North Mesquite High School, from which he graduated in 1983. He then went on to play at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, where he was a two-time All- NAIA defensive back. After graduation from East Central, Graham briefly signed with the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL in 1987. DelVaughn Alexander (born July 16, 1971) is an American football coach and former player. College career Alexander played college football at the University of Southern California where he backed up Johnnie Morton and Keyshawn Johnson. Prior to USC, Alexander went to West Los Angeles College. Coaching career Between 1995 and 1997, Alexander was a graduate assistant coach for the USC Trojans. Chip Long
Chip Long (born May 1, 1983) is an American football coach, who is currently an assistant at Louisville. He previously was the offensive coordinator for Tulane University, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Memphis and Georgia Tech. Coaching career Early coaching career Long began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Louisville, where he held the position for two years. This was followed by two years as a graduate assistant at Arkansas. In 2010 and 2011 Long worked as Illinois' tight ends and fullbacks coach. Jackie Shipp
Jackie Vernold Shipp (born March 19, 1962) is an American football coach and former player. Shipp was the defensive line coach for the Oklahoma Sooners football team until his departure in the 2013 offseason. He had been on the Sooners' coaching staff since the arrival of Bob Stoops in 1999. He was the defensive line coach at Arizona State from 2013-2015, and was the defensive line coach at the University of Missouri for part of the 2016 season.
