2014 Adeccoligaen
The 2014 1. divisjon was a Norwegian second-tier football league season. The league was contested by 16 teams, and the top two teams won promotion to Tippeligaen, while the teams placed from third to sixth place played a promotion-playoff against the 14th-placed team in Tippeligaen to win promotion. The bottom four teams were relegated to the 2. divisjon. The first round of the season was played on 6 April 2014 and ended with the last round on 2 November 2014. Team changes from 2013 In the 2013 1. divisjon, Bodø/Glimt and Stabæk won promotion to Tippeligaen, while Tromsø and Hønefoss were relegated to the 1. divisjon. Elverum, Follo, Kongsvinger and Vard Haugesund were relegated from the 2013 1. division, while Bærum, Alta, Nest-Sotra and Tromsdalen were promoted from the 2013 2. division. Ranheim Fotball is a Norwegian football club from Ranheim in Trondheim that currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier in the Norwegian football league system. Ranheim is the football department of Ranheim IL, founded on 17 February 1901. Fredrikstad Fotballklubb (also known as Fredrikstad or FFK) is a Norwegian association football, football club from the town of Fredrikstad. With nine league championships and eleven Norwegian Football Cup, Norwegian Cup wins, FFK is one of the most successful clubs in Norwegian football. The club was founded in 1903. Bryne Fotballklubb () is a professional football club in Bryne, Norway, that competes in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian football. History Bryne has played a total of 17 seasons in the top flight of Norwegian football since their debut in 1976. They had their longest spell of 13 consecutive top tier seasons from 1976 until 1988. The men's team is currently playing in the Norwegian Second Division, after being relegated from the 1. divisjon in 2015. Follo Fotballklubb is a football club from Ski, Viken, Norway. Follo play in light blue, and their home ground is Ski stadion. It was founded in September 2000 and their biggest achievement was playing in the 2010 Norwegian Football Cup Final. History It was founded in September 2000 as an umbrella team for the football departments of five local teams; Ås IL, Oppegård IL, Langhus IL, Ski IL and Nordby IL. Elverum Fotball is the association football section of the sports club Elverum IL from Elverum, Norway. They compete in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier in the Norwegian football league system.
