The 2014 season was Aalesund's eight consecutive season in the Tippeligaen, and their second season was with Jan Jönsson as their manager. Aalesunds FK
Aalesunds Fotballklubb, commonly known as Aalesund or AaFK, is a Norwegian football club from the town of Ålesund, that competes in the Eliteserien, the first tier of the Norwegian football league system. The club was founded on 25 June 1914. As of 2004, the football club had 835 members and several teams on both professional and amateur levels. These teams are the 1st and 2nd teams, junior team, and also several age-specific teams. History In 2009 the club won the Norwegian Cup for the first time in its history. Mikael Dyrestam
Mikael Bertil Dyrestam (born 10 December 1991) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender. Born in Sweden, he represented the Sweden national team before switching allegiance to Guinea. Since 2019 he represents the Guinea national team. He has formerly played for IFK Göteborg, Aalesunds FK, NEC, Kalmar FF and Xanthi. Michael Barrantes
Michael Barrantes Rojas (; born 4 October 1983) is a Costa Rican professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Cartaginés. On 6 November 2011, he scored two goals for Aalesund in the 2011 Norwegian Cup Final, in a 2–1 win against Brann, and was awarded the man of the match award. Mustafa Abdellaoue
Mustafa "Mos" Abdellaoue (born 1 August 1988) is a Norwegian professional footballer who most recently played as a forward for Eliteserien side Sarpsborg 08. He is the younger brother of former Norway international Mohammed Abdellaoue. Club career Abdellaoue was born in Oslo, Norway. He made his debut for Skeid in 2007, and played a total of six games during the relegation campaign from the First Division, the second tier in Norwegian football. Fredrik Stensøe Ulvestad (born 17 June 1992) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ekstraklasa club Pogoń Szczecin. Career Ulvestad started his career in the youth team of SK Herd before signing for hometown club Aalesunds FK in 2008. He made his first team debut for the club in May 2010 at the age of 17, replacing Jonathan Parr as a substitute in a 1–0 win over Volda TI in the Norwegian Football Cup. Hugues Wembangomo (born 10 May 1992) is a Norwegian former footballer who played as a right back. He has previously played for Sarpsborg 08 and Aalesund, as well as represented Norway at youth international level. Daniel Arnefjord (born 21 March 1979) is a Swedish footballer who last played for Aalesunds FK in the Norwegian Tippeligaen as a centre back. Career After several seasons in the lower divisions Arnefjord got his breakthrough after he was bought from FC Väsby United to AIK when AIK returned to Allsvenskan in 2006. A bitter moment in the 2006-season was a misunderstanding between Arnefjord and AIK's goalkeeper Daniel Örlund, which led to Arnefjord heading the ball into his one goal in the home-match against Helsingborgs IF. Sten Grytebust
Sten Michael Grytebust (born 25 October 1989) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Aalesund. He previously played for Aalesunds FK in the Norwegian Tippeligaen and, until the end of the 2018–19 season, for Odense Boldklub in Denmark. He made his debut for the Norway national team in 2013.
