2014 ARCA Racing Series Season
The 2014 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards was the 62nd season of the ARCA Racing Series. The season began on February 15 with the Lucas Oil 200 presented by MAVTV American Real and ended on October 3 with the ARCA 98.9, after a total of 20 races. Mason Mitchell won his first series title, through consistent finishing. Despite winning only one race all season – July's Ansell ActivArmr 150 – Mitchell finished all but two races inside the top ten placings. Ray Ciccarelli
Raymond J. Ciccarelli (born January 20, 1970) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 49 Chevrolet Silverado for his own team, CMI Motorsports. He has also competed in what are now the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East in the past. Racing career ARCA Racing Series Ciccarelli drove part-time in the series in 2014, 2015, and 2016 for teams Carter 2 Motorsports, Kimmel Racing, Hamilton-Hughes Racing, and Hixson Motorsports. He started his own team, Ciccarelli Racing, for 2017. Brad Smith (racing Driver)
Bradley Smith (born October 9, 1968) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 48 Chevrolet SS for his team, Brad Smith Motorsports. Smith is a veteran of the series, having made over 400 starts in it since 1988. He made his debut in the ARCA Menards Series East (previously the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East) in 2020 and ARCA Menards Series West (previously the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West) in 2021, and he and his team have also competed part-time in those series since then. Darrell Basham
Darrell Basham (born March 17, 1949) is an American stock car racing driver and team owner. He currently competes in the ARCA Racing Series, driving the No. 34 Chevrolet for Darrell Basham Racing. Racing career ARCA Racing Series Basham made his ARCA Racing Series debut in 1972. In 1975, Basham posted a career-best finish of fifth twice, both times at Salem Speedway. One year later, he finished a career-best seventh place in the standings. After driving sporadically over the next two decades, Basham began racing full-time again in 2002. Sean Corr (born February 21, 1984) is an American professional stock car racing driver and owner. He currently competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 8 Chevrolet SS for Empire Racing. Corr is also the president of Educational Bus Transportation, a school bus provider on Long Island. Racing career Camping World Truck Series Corr has made 6 starts in the Camping World Truck Series. He drove his family-owned truck entry at Daytona, Talladega, Eldora and Pocono. His best finish was 20th in the Aspen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby in 2015. James Hylton Motorsports
Brad Smith Motorsports (formerly known as Hylton Engineering and James Hylton Motorsports) is a former NASCAR and current ARCA race team. It was one of the oldest professional race teams in the United States, running from 1964 to 1994; 1997–99; 2001–2018. The team won two NASCAR Winston Cup Series races with James Hylton driving, the 1970 Richmond 500 and the 1972 Talladega 500. The team ran for many years in the Winston Cup before closing in 1995. Empire Racing Group (often just called Empire Racing) is an American professional stock car racing team that currently competes in the ARCA Menards Series, fielding the No. 8 Chevrolet and Fords for driver Sean Corr and in late models with the No. 44 of Lexi Gay, the No. 46 of Thad Moffitt, and the No. 9 of Harrison Moffitt. Tom Hessert III
Thomas Hessert III (born May 22, 1986) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He most recently competed part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 55 Toyota Camry for Venturini Motorsports and the No. 22 Ford Fusion for Chad Bryant Racing.
