2014 2. Divisjon
The 2014 2. divisjon (often referred to as Oddsen-ligaen for sponsorship reasons) was a Norwegian football third-tier league. The league consisted of 56 teams divided into 4 groups of 14 teams. The winners of the four groups were promoted to the 1. divisjon, while the bottom three teams in each groups are relegated to the 3. divisjon. Holmen IF
Holmen Idrettsforening is a Norwegian sports club from Holmen in northern Asker, Norway. It has sections for football, handball, and cross-country skiing. Its home ground is Holmen idrettspark. The club was founded in 1918, at that time having sections for football, athletics and ski jumping. Nardo FK
Nardo Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club from Trondheim. The men's team currently plays in the 3. divisjon, having been relegated from the 2. divisjon in 2021. The club played on the second tier from 1993 to 1996. History The club was formed on 14 January 1971 by a group of former Nidelv IL members. The club played its first season in the 6. divisjon (seventh tier) in 1972, and won promotion the next year. After two decades at amateur level, the club earned some success under coach Roar Stokke, and was promoted from the fourth tier to the second tier, where they were fighting for promotion to Tippeligaen, and achieved a fourth place in the 1993 1. divisjon. Stokke resigned from his position in September 1995 after disagreements with the board of directors. FK Gjøvik-Lyn
FK Gjøvik-Lyn is a Norwegian football club based in Gjøvik, which was founded on 1 February 1902 as Sportsklubben Thor. They play in the Norwegian Second Division, the third highest division in the Norwegian football league system. Their home ground is Gjøvik Stadion. The club's honours include winning the 1962 Norwegian Cup. The men's team played in the 3. divisjon in 2008, and in the 2. divisjon as late as in 2007. Ahead of the 2009 season, the first team joined the new team Gjøvik FF. Raufoss Fotball
Raufoss IL is a sports club from Raufoss, Norway. The club was formed in 1918. The football section played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937–1948, between 1957–1960, in 1964 and between 1973–1974. The club currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Since 2015, they have played their home games at Nammo Stadion. In 2007 Raufoss returned to the 1. divisjon and were able to finish in eleventh place, after being relegated from the second tier in 2004. However, due to financial problems and failure to meet demands on infrastructure, the Football Association of Norway decided not to award Raufoss the required license for play in the top two divisions. Elverum Fotball
Elverum Fotball is the association football section of the sports club Elverum IL from Elverum, Norway. They compete in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier in the Norwegian football league system. History It was founded on 30 June 1907 under the name ''Elverum Footballklub''. Elverum played in the 2. divisjon for many years. In 1995, it won its group and was promoted to the 1996 1. divisjon, but was relegated after one year. Between 2000 and 2004, Elverum was relegated and promoted every other year; they played in the 3. divisjon from 2005 to 2010. Elverum won their 3. divisjon group in 2005 and 2006, but lost the playoff-promotion until they won the promotion-playoff in 2010 and returned to the 2. divisjon. Byåsen Toppfotball is a Norwegian football club based in Trondheim and a section of the multi-sport organization Byåsen IL. Byåsen are currently playing in the 3. divisjon, the fourth tier of the Norwegian football league system, having last played in the 2. divisjon in 2019. History Byåsen was promoted to the 1. divisjon in 1995, and with Jan Halvor Halvorsen as coach they were positioned in the top of the second tier in the late 1990s. The closest Byåsen came to win promotion to the top division was in 1998 when they started the season with seven league-victories in a row and a goaldifference of 19-4. Asker Fotball
Asker Fotball is the football department of Norwegian sports club Asker SK from Asker. The women's football team is one of the most successful clubs ever in Norway, with 6 top flight championships and 5 cup championships. Due to financial difficulties at the end of 2008, the team's licence to play in the Toppserien was revoked; the team members then joined Stabæk IF's football group, Stabæk Fotball, which set up a new women's team. NFF gave Asker's place in the Toppserien to Stabæk Fotball. Asker's second team became Asker's first team, playing in the 2. divisjon, and they now have a recruiting arrangement with Stabæk Fotball.
